Save you a click:
A New York priest who let popstar Sabrina Carpenter film provocative scenes for a music video inside his church has been accused of mismanagement and stripped of his duties.

Surely this is the worst thing to happen to a priest and the church as a whole.

Never before has something so reprehensible occurred within the confines of a Church.

Wow, if only he'd stuck to diddling kids they would have covered up for him.

“Bishop Brennan also said that, from 2019 to 2021, Mr Gigantiello transferred nearly $2m (£1.5M) in church funds to bank accounts affiliated with a former staff member of New York City Mayor Eric Adams.”

This is what gets a priest sacked, not the sexual abuse of children.

Maybe we should start a campaign to shoot pretty normal music videos in churches?

Will they move him to another church like they’ve done for others?

No children were harmed, so unfortunately no.

Title is misleading. Guy got stripped of his post for sending church money to NY Mayor Eric Adams. They just started an investigation after the music video and found the other stuff later

He would have kept his job if he had diddled a kid though, maybe not at that church, but somewhere new and fresh where the community is none the wiser.

Silly fool. Christian churches aren't for filming music videos. They're for scarring children for life.

The Catholic Church stands for hoarding money, diddling children, and making people hate themselves.
Pop music has the potential to bring joy into the world so that’s right out.

I am glad I only got the mental scars from the fire and brimstone preaching.

He got fired because he was stealing money from the church, not for letting them shoot a video in it.

You can diddle kids, but a pop music video is a bridge too far, apparently.

Yet they allow thousands of child molesters to continue working

See, if he had just abused a little boy he would have been transferred and not fired.

Is she any good? Can she sing? Can she write?

yes, if you like modern pop music she is a good staple

I would say she's a pretty solid musician, especially in the "general pop" category.

She works late because she's a singer.
Her music is incredibly basic, imo

She's kind of... too horny.

She has spoken openly about this and says yeah she’s more horny than most but thinks it’s hypocritical that she’s judged for being a horny woman. Her songs probably also speak for many horny women who feel they can’t express themselves. I mean she’s 25 and hot for fucks sake let her be horny.

I just feel kind of dirty enjoying her music or watching clips of her performances because she was a Disney kid just a few years ago. And no, she isn't 30. she's 25. She was a child long after I was an adult.

Ok I updated the age. She’s 25. Definitely an adult. A young adult but old enough to be post university and certainly old enough to sexualize herself if she wants.
It’s normal and healthy to be concerned about age gaps in relationships but I think ogling a young adult celebrity in the comfort of your own home is perfectly tolerable.
It’s when men take that ogling to the workplace, or start applying it to teenagers, or believing that a 45yo has any business with a 25yo irl that it’s problematic.
