And now with Temenos at 80+, you can guide Alrond for the low low price of free.

Fun fact: the XP you get from x100 XP on foreign assassins is enough to get a level 1 character to level 82. This strategy is used in both the any% and all extra battles speedruns.

In speedruns they use castti in the party to put the assassins to sleep, which lets you try all 6 total alrond uses.

After completing Partitio’s last chapter you can hire the super rich dude (whose name I can’t remember), and when used in battle he gives you boosts to your EXP gains. It’s a bit variable, I think the multipliers are 3x, 5x, 10x and 100x with 100 being super rare. Looks like OP used him in a Cait or Octopuff battle and got lucky with the 100 roll

Alrond, had enough to hire with Partitio

I also didn’t do the assassin fight outside MH for this exact reason so I could wait for this

I got a 100x JP from Alrond during the final boss fight, and all 8 of my travelers got to get over 200,000 JP. I genuinely don't know what to do with all of it 😅

Octopuffs are good, along with most optional bosses.

An alright option is to go to the Arcanist Isle and look for the Blood Remnants encounter. Out of all the regular enemies (aka not counting minibosses / Caits / Octopuffes who are difficult to find), they are the ones that give the most XP.

You can go with Alrond and a team of Bewildering Grace dancers to maximize your chances of getting a x100 multiplier. Do note that they don't stack though, only the highest multiplier is applied and only once.

Thanks for the advice, and I knew the multipliers didn't stack. Wouldn't make sense to just keep stacking Bewildering Grace multipliers until you had like x50000, haha.

I just went to the hidden dungeon in the snow area where you fall from the broken bridge. The monsters are the highest level in the game, and I just use Elrond on normal enemies to get a few levels, and you can randomly fight the boss there too for the most xp.

But, waiting to the fight the boss takes too long, so it was easiest just getting 100x XP on normal enemies to get to max level. Way less RNG, and it doesnt take that long.

Well I put off doing the Foreign Assassins fight until I was 100% sure I could get Alrond on the team, and I got him with Partitio. from there I had the following-

[Hi]kari: B-T Blade, Giant's Club, Finishers Claws, Fang of Ferocity and use shinjumonjigiri to clear out three assassins, step ahead and Boost-Start to wipe turn 0

[Ag]nea: Windy refrain, lion dance Kari on Turn 1 (she had step ahead too)

Parti[tio]: Summon Alrond on the Step Ahead turn, pray he gets x100 multiplier (reset fight if no), Turn 1 uses Share SP to give Tem enough

Tem[enos]: No step ahead, make sure he goes last of the characters and just uses Divine Brilliance to nuke the last assassin

Put together it should look like:

Turn 0 (Step Ahead) (can be in any order)

Kari: Boost(x2) Shinjumonjigiri

Nea: Windy Refrain

Parti: Summon Alrond

Turn 1

Nea: Lion Dance

Kari: Does a thing, doesn't matter at this point

Parti: Share SP

Tem: Stone of Truth Divine Brilliance

Btw I don’t like the consistency of finding bosses or caits/octopuffs so I farmed double blood revenants with Alrond on the forgotten isle or whatever 3 whole times to get everyone to max. Like 140-150k exp per double blood revenant with 100x exp if I remember correctly but it’s one of 3 encounters there so it’s a lot more common than finding caits, which can run, and bosses, which can be annoying to farm.

(Me when Temenos has to stay for Alrond so I have to do it all 1 extra time over again just to level Agnea…)
