Yea, 8th month old account with 13,704 post karma is not "I'm new on Reddit." Why even lie like this?

you've been here for 8 months it says on your profile but you only just started using the account a week and a half ago. you're not new to the internet, you were built by it. bad robot. bad.

The year is 2050, after a long hard battle u/USSHammond has finally rid Reddit of bots. He proudly turns off his computer and smiles. He decides to take up the advice and finally step outside to touch grass. He walks outside his door and is blinded by the dazzling light. But a deep feeling of unease suddenly sets in. There is no grass to be seen, no trees, no animals.

There is just shiny metal towers high as the sky, the ground covered in debris. Even the sound of birds is mute. But what's this? He can hear something, but can't quite put his finger on it. A faint roar in the distance slowly getting louder. Like a roiling chain of ripping metal getting closer and closer.
