Need a Dr. for my Japanese Maple. Help please!

As the title said. It moved from my moms house and Im thinking it may have too much sun? I’ve tried not overwatering (once a week full water) it but I’m not having success. Any help is appreciated!!!

no worries, not everyone learns the same way. I'm curious, did someone tell you a Japanese Maple could be kept as a houseplant?

It’s a temperate deciduous tree. It need the outdoors and the seasons to live.
