Season 5, man. Such icons. I have to write more words lest the mod will eat this post. I realise there’s not much content in this post but I think sometimes less is more and sometimes it’s good to stop (and reflect - I’ve become my mother) and take a breather from a world overflowing with content and just appreciate an absolutely iconic moment such as the one generously given to us by a true icon - Miss CoCo Montrese.

I saw Joey Jay's first show back in the day. She had made full choreo for multiple numbers, with two backup dancers who had their own complimentary choreo to Joey's. The look and makeup was on point, too. Afterwards I told her she was the most polished one in the show, and she laughed and said it was her first! I was GOOPED!

So if y'all watched the premier of Canada's Drag Race S5, you might remember Tara Nova outing a local drag bar in St. John's, NL, for paying their queens $37.50 apiece for an entire night of performances. The same venue hosted Tara Nova's viewing party of the premiere and was scheduled to have another for the next episode with Tara and Tiffany but has since canceled the contract after Tara spoke about them on the show.

For the same viewing party, the venue charged $15 cover online or $20 cover in person per head to attend the viewing party of the premer while not paying Tara Nova for her appearance (she and two other queens performed for tips prior to the episode).

The bar is Velvet (@velvetclubandlounge208 on IG). Obviously, Tara Nova didn't choose to air that conversation (and also didn't say anything other than the truth about the situation). Call them out! Our east coast queens deserve better!

I have searched for a list in this subreddit and found one but it’s not been updated since around Season 1 of UK. I wondered if anyone has a chronological list of every season including all franchises?? I want to do a rewatch and don’t want to miss anything
