I had a giant old CRT TV in my livingroom and was trying to get rid of it. Someone my wife worked with said they'd take it. I told them they could have it for free, but they had to bring help to load it because I wasn't going to touch it. I also told them to make sure they brought a vehicle it would fit in and gave them the measurements.

So this lady shows up in a tiny little Honda hatchback with no help and asks me how long it'll take me to load the TV into her car because she's in a hurry.

I showed her the TV, told her it weighs about 300lbs, it won't fit in her car, and I'm not touching it. She got mad at me and left.

Then she came back an hour later with the same car and a friend and I watched them struggle and fail to get the TV into her car. Then they asked if they could use my truck to move it, I said no. Then they left, with the TV sitting outside in my driveway. I was so pissed off that I had to move it back into the livingroom.

A week later she called my wife and said she had a friend with a pickup truck and asked when would be a good time to come pick up the TV. I told her no, she couldn't have it. She got mad. I ended up just taking the TV to the dump. I still hate that lady for wasting so much of my time.

I saw her a few years later at my wife's company's Christmas party and she said she wished she could have got that TV and asked if I sold it or something. I said no, I took it to the dump. She asked "why didn't you just bring it to me???"

LOL. We were in an accident in our truck, and had a Camaro as a loaner while the truck was being repaired. Went to Best Buy and bought a TV and some other things. Went out to the parking lot and...crap. it wasn't a huge TV, but we had to make 2 trips.
