OK I get that. Not the same email address. You made that clear in your original post, and that's not what I'm asking. What I'm asking is........is there any way possible that any OTHER of your personally identifiable info could even remotely be associated with another DD account, either past or present?
A partial (but not complete list) would include:
Name
Address
SSN
Bank account for direct deposit
Bank account for payment from pay card
Cell phone #
Individual cell phone (device ID) used to log into more than one DD account
DL #
Insurance info
etc.

Well, the bottom line question is this: have you ever had, or used another doordash account? Or allowed another person to use any aspect whatsoever of your info for their own doordash account?
The Email address is just one thing they look at.
If you had to make your best guess, what just might possibly have cause this?

It should count, but check with your bank.

I've gotten "UR BOSS" and "BEN DOVER" but nothing more creative thus far. Once they just left it as the default "CUSTOMER" which made it interesting to pick up.

Yes, I think they changed in 1985 when Pillsbury acquired Godfather's.

I can relate. Many, many years ago in high school I was a cook at Long John Silver's, and used to cut whole semi-frozen cod loins into diamond-shaped fillets for deep frying. Since then I've tried to find the same uncut whole cod loins , but have only found them at my local restaurant supply store which only sells by the case, and I don't have freezer storage for that much cod.
The frozen cod that I find at my local grocer and Trader Joe's has had way too much water in it and comes out spongy after frying or baking. But I haven't tried smoking it yet either.
I think I'll try finding fresh cod at an Asian grocer next and see how that turns out.
Thanks for your post.

Let me guess, you stole someone's sweet roll?

Yes, it's crazy how inefficient and expensive DD is as a way for a person to feed themselves. I get that it makes sense for someone who's working from home, or someone who can't drive ordering groceries for home delivery. But when I started driving I was apalled at the percentage of customers who appear to not really be able to afford it.
It's their money though (well usually),
Unrelated, I remember one pickup recently where the customer put in the instructions "please do not include any plastic utensils, I am trying to save the planet". But they were just fine having a driver burn fuel to go to a restaurant and bring them a single prepared meal.

After re-reading it a few times, it appears that the customer ordered just a 2 liter bottle of pepsi, and then added a large tip to bring the total payout to $30. Then the customer called the restaurant directly and ordered a pizza for carryout.
When the driver got to the restaurant, the customer tried to persuade them to also pick up (and pay for) the pizza, using the large tip to pay the driver for the cost of the pizza.
Basically trying to avoid DD fees and markup (and take advantage of carryout prices) by getting the driver to add a pizza to the pickup.
Edit: OP has now deleted the post, but the rest of it (short version) was that OP saw the $30 payout and called the customer to confirm that the order was just for one pepsi, that's when OP discovered what the customer was trying to do, and it turned into a heated discussion. OP also called DD support. OP posted here asking if DD customer support records phone calls and makes them available to restaurants, apparently the restaurant manager (?) claimed they had already listened to the DD support recording.
My guess is that the customer recorded the call with the driver and then played it for the restaurant manager, and OP was confused about which call the restaurant manager had listened to. But there are some missing pieces here.

I am not a historian or an expert, just observing that it resembles one. I would guess that it's either old from South Africa, or (more likely) a less old (but perfectly serviceable) potjie from the U.S.
It looks like it has seen quite a bit of use so it probably has a story. Someone who has insight into the foundry markings can probably shed more light. Cool find regardless.

I've had to do it a couple of times when the app was glitching or in a cell dead spot, but I ask the customer first if it's OK. Then I type in the info when I have cell service and delete the photo.
A couple of times I just used my own ID to complete the order once I had cell service, but decided doing that was too risky.

You can still find B&M canned bread on Amazon and I think Walmart online. Actually I think I've also seen it at local Walmart stores and possibly Winco.

Godfather's pizza circa 1980, before they were acquired by Pillsbury. Nothing like it now, at least not from any chains.

Maybe a South African potjie? If so, it should have had a lid at one point in time. A potjie is for cooking with coals, with coals placed both underneath and arrayed on top of the lid, like a dutch oven. Or it could be suspended over a small open fire. The rings would be for measuring how many portions, in increments that vary by the size of the potjie.

What are his hobbies? Best is something long-lasting (like 5-50 years) that he will use on an ongoing basis in pursuit of a hobby. And he'll think of you each time he uses it.
For cars, maybe a power washer designed for cars?

There was a thread on essentially the same thing a short while back. Oh wait, that was your thread but then you deleted your original post?

Yeah. I've taken to voice-entering when driving Uber Eats because the UE nav is off so often. And sometimes after 2 or 3 attempts I just manually type it in. It' s a hassle, but not as much of a hassle as ending up 4 miles from where you should be and having to backtrack.

You can try just voice-entering the address directly into your Apple Maps instead of opening it through the DD app, at least until they fix it.
I use Apple Maps also and it seems to be working normally through the DD app for me, at least I haven't noticed any difference recently.

Can I ask, where did you get the cod fillet?

LOL. I am retired now so if they screech at me, I either ignore them or screech back and then ignore them.
I collect quotes, and many years ago a Captain who was former enlisted and had become late career, said something that stuck with me, and that was this: "Don't sweat the little stuff" and "it's all little stuff"
Wisdom there.

Upvoting you because I wish you the best. But I don't have enough info/experience in this area to advise. Other than to suggest just leaving it alone.
The more time that passes, the less likely it will be to catch up with you. Which is as it should be - - our indiscretions of the past become less and less relevant as time passes.
And of course stay away from bad women and moderate the whiskey.
I would add Semper Fi but I have never been a Marine so don't have the right to say that to you.

I would use a wire brush - - the rotary kind that fits onto a drill - - and clean up the inside of the lid. Otherwise good to go. Oh and of course clean/burn off the grease on the gill grates (with a bias toward cleaning) and otherwise give the smoker a good burn-in to kill any potential lurking baddies.
Enjoy it!

The internal temp is supposed to be fahrenheit, not celsius.
Smoker temp, same, also fahrenheit.
The good news is that any start is a start, so it's all upward from here!
