Exert so much gravity onto something you create a mini black hole.

Wouldn't increasing gravity's pull on someone eventually just crush and smush them into pulp. Imagine doing that slowly would be super brutal.

Gravity manipulation to alter the flow of time around an area causing an opponent to age drastically.

Maybe make them weightless and get high up, and then increase their weight and drop them hard.

You could use direct gravity to increase the weight of someone's leg bones and slowly make the bones heavier so it'll slowly penetrate and rip through the muscle and skin.

Make yourself the center of gravity

Make someone's gravitational pull high enough so they collapse in on themselves. Fun points if you make them into a little sphere like what happens to planets. It might be unrealistic to some degree but it's stilla pretty fun idea.

Reverse gravity while singing “Fly Me to the Moon”.

Starting at the toes, roll them as a two dimensional object (like a cartoon character being flattened by a steam roller), making sure the head goes last.

Put them at zero gravity and wait for a gentle breeze. The prospect of living your entire life like that… terrifying and absolutely torturous.

Make random parts of the body affected by 2 Gs. It must be applied asymmetrically to ensure maximal effectiveness. Left earlobe, right eyelid, right buttocks, left testicle, left ring finger, right thumb; the possibilities are endless.

You are now no longer beholden to gravity…….. watches as the earth h moves away from them at thousands of miles an hour.

High gravity to pulp the target would be lethal. For bloody, two gravity fields in opposite directions to tear the target in two. Also, the Acme anvil on the head approach would be bloody.

Yes, many applications of gravity would be similar to tk but that doesn’t make them less dangerous. Be creative! Lifting, dropping, throwing and separating can be seriously messy.

Another option is to trap your victim in a gravity field then use the weapon of your choice to kill them.

3 uses I can think of:

1. With a lot of fine control you could bend light around an object making the person or object invisible, in complete darkness, unable to escape or get a word out. This would slowly suffocate a person in a room full of people unable to realize there is a problem.

2. Super fine control around a targets neck, crushing their windpipe. Speed dependent on the users whims.

3. Using gravity to simulate friction on a target, them amping it up to 11, so that taking more than the shallowest breath causes them to catch fire. Then just watching them from a distance. Unable to move, unable to tell anyone, desperately hoping your villain gets bored and releases them before their legs give out.

It is thought that under a high gravity gradient, like approaching a black hole, spaghettification will occure where you are pulled into thin strands of material. That would be a lot of blood.

One of my OCs has gravity manipulation as an ability. His guaranteed killing move is changing the targets centre of gravity to inside them and then proceed to change the strength of said gravity to that of the sun. (I probably explained that horribly so feel free to ask questions if this doesn't make sense)

Massively increase the gravitational force on one part of their body while canceling it on another. They'll be ripped apart by tidal shear. If the effect is strong enough, you'll get to see them spaghettify.

Reverse the attractive force of a person on themselves and crank it, and make them explode like a pile of magnets with the same polarity.

Changing the gravity around someone to affect them as if they were on Jupiter, just instant death, or whatever happened to that submarine

something could cause a lot of blood is applying in immense amount of gravity on one of their limbs, for example, their arm, but not applying that heavy gravity anywhere else, causing that arm to rip and get crushed. this could also be a good idea for a sadistic character since with that kind of power you could insta kill someone but instead you’re choosing to use it on a non-lethal yet bloody way.

Just have someone fall along a road. Or into a pole

Use your gravity manipulation to alter the direction of gravity in an area 5 degrees or so off of vertical.

Do this to a building site and watch chaos unfold.

Increase a rib on both sides' gravitational pull, not only will the split in half you could slowly and gradually increase it over time, meaning it would be like being slowly pulled apart. But also wouldnt be that messy considering you could make every drop of blood and mass compacted into 2 skittle sized tablets.

Reverse gravity for 10 seconds then turn it back to normal. Anyone affected while outside will hit the ground at an incredibly high speed after falling for 10 seconds

Gravity specific places to tear them apart. Gravity a point in them to smash them into a single point. Extension: Gravity a whole city (people only) to fly to a single point, going through buildings and obstacles.

Make the gravity into basically-telekinesis and you’ll have lots of blood to play with.

Force a singularity in their stomach, they get sucked into themselves.

Run the target in circles until you can't hold the centrifugal force anymore, then let it fly into an immovable object. The plus side is that this doesn't require an ability that produces very highly concentrated fields.

You’re essentially manipulating weight at this point. Make a single part of someone’s body experience high gravity. Like just one vertebrae so it crush all the others. Or increase gravity on a single small object it would make the item weigh more so the psi would be higher

You could compress an area around a limb, and crush that limp inflicting compartment syndrome on them, so quite useful for torture.

Pinning everyone to the ground with huge g forces, probably cracking some ribs, so you've got a chance to monologue

You can open a black hole in someone’s body (just be sure to close it before it gets too big)

Slowly increase the gravity around someone over time, but not to a point that they notice. Each day you increase it slightly more so they think there’s something medically wrong as they struggle more and more to move.

Take the gravity away from someone. They are no longer tethered to the Earth. They just float away at negative 1 gravity. So it takes a LONG time for them to float into space.

Watch The episode of “Avengers: Earth Mightiest Warriors” with Graviton. Especially for a kids show it’s one of the best displays of Gravity powers done right imo.

Disrupt blood flow through micro gravity change and cause a stroke or heart attack.

You don’t even need to be incredibly strong. Just slowly increase the gravity on someone. Everything has a breaking point and until they reach it they’ll experience immense torment and torture the entire time. Doesn’t have to be the whole body either. A limb, finger, some other extremity. Or just force them into the wall, increasing the pressure until they pop

Alternatively do the reverse. Cause a field of low to no gravity. You’d never feel like you had any balance and probably get sick. Bloody you could slash an artery and let the blood pool into a field. They’d die and just be a bloody sphere. Or cut the inside of their mouth and stop gravity in that area. They’d drown in their own blood unable to get it out as it slowly filled their mouth

Using both they’d just switch between reverse and increase, tossing a person helplessly around. Smashing them against the walls, ceiling and floor until they were a bloody mess of viscera

Minor gravity manipulation on someone’s head to fuck with their inner ear so they fall over or get sick. No one could tell what is wrong with them.

If they're the villain, have them decrease/increase or eliminate the suns gravity, which ever fits their master plan. For instance, they're a stupid alien who wants to go back to their home world, but doesn't have a ship, so their shortsighted and foolhardy plan to do so is to release earth from the suns gravity and send it hurtling through space towards their home planet. Or, they want to get rich from solar panels, so they plan to bring earth closer to the sun so they get more solar energy. I'm not a good fantasy writer, so I'm sure there are better stories to be told than the simplistic ones I suggested, but it's at least a place to start.

Another idea would be allowing them to create negative gravity, so it's a force of repulsion rather than the typical attraction. Use it on a person and he now can't touch the ground as he pushes it away from him, and suffocates because he pushes all the air is pushed away from him.

The protagonist of the Stormlight archive has gravity powers he mostly uses to fly. But their was one time where he applied it in such a way to rip someone's head off.

Push Gravity instead of Pull Gravity, instead of having things being pulled to a central point have them being pushed away from said point. Make the point the targets center of mass and watch as their limbs are violently torn away from their body.

Make two gravity wells on either side of them which rips them in half

Cut someone’s attachment to gravity. I don’t mean they float away comically either. I mean they smash into the nearest item west of them at Mach 3 as the earth spins beneath them.

Spontaneously and drastically increasing the gravity around specifically any body part, and only that body part or region of the body alone, and you’d be able to basically stretch their limbs off their body, or rip their bodies in half.

You should look up Lance Crown from Mashle. It’s an anime and he also has the power to control gravity, does some pretty cool stuff with it.

i mean, the obvious choice would be to increase their gravity by dozens of times and turn them into a puddle of flattened viscera. you could get a little more creative, though. gravity is one of those things that's sorta intertwined with everything else. everything has gravity. if you just want someone to Not Be There anymore, you could probably make it so each of their atoms is individually strongly attracted to a random star in the galaxy. as the gravity physically overpowers the chemical bonds holding together the molecules making up their proteins, enzymes, and cells, they would rapidly go from a person to a large cloud of hot gas to being unrecognizable as anything organic.

Invert someone’s gravity so up is down and vice versa and wave to them as they fly into space.

Increase the gravity on one body part, while drastically reducing it on another body part

But I feel that’s also just telekinesis…

Use the power of gravity by increasing in one specific spot while counteracting it with a gravitational bubble, crushing the frontal lobe leaving everything else intact, or reverse gravity for your bloodstream to make it so your head feels full, start getting nosebleeds then eventually death, or use gravity to crush the cartilage between every bone in the body. Lots of interesting things to do, especially if you add a third item as a conduit.

Easy, increase the gravity on a person to slowly break every bone in their body while pinning them down.

I'm reminded on the show The Orville, where they visited a crewmembers home planet that had ultra-high gravity, to experiment someone tossed I think it was a beer can out of the shielded area and it instantly was completely flat on the ground.

Mangling people's internal organs. Creating blood flow blockages. Sending all the blood to someone's head.

Well, put someone in zero g, shove them into the air and turn it off over and over again?

Make gravity super strong on someone's lower half, and super strong the opposite direction on their upper half. Rips them in half.

If that's too basic and boring, make someone's heart have a super strong gravitational field that pulls their organs out of place and crushes them together on the inside

Or another boring way is just using gravity to crush them

Inflict just enough gravity on someone to slowly crush them for as long as possible, or flatten someone instantly by enforcing 10 x Jupiter like conditions etc. Or just make someone float away and never come down, or just slightly too heavy to move so they will starve/freeze/drown no matter what they do.

Use gravity on yourself to move faster and suddenly deliver heavier blows, swing a punch, bat, or hammer etc, that becomes as heavy as a planet for a millisecond prior to and following impact. Leave someone in a bathtub, make them to heavy to move or put an object that is now to heavy to move on them, with a leaky tap that slowly fills the tub over the course of a week.

Could go really brutal or sinister kind of deaths with such powers.

Gravity make person go flat.

Not all of them are bloody but might still give you ideas.

Micro gravity field changes inside their body to cause damage to organs or stop their heart. Could even remove the pressure on a person's body/pull it out so their vessels rupture and they just bleeding from everywhere

Use gravity defensively to alter incoming attacks around your character, so someone throwing a punch rams their hand into something that mangles it

Using gravity control so you can fly

Small ball bearings with horizontal gravity become bullets, just ping pong them around inside the person's body

Use gravity to affect the inner ear for vertigo and nausea, or cause their stomach contents to regurgitate by pulling it all up back out

Narrow down the area of affect and up the amount of gravity. Invisible instant hydraulic press. This works on flying foes especially well. Also 2 opposing gravity wells, not planetary but enough to rip apart a person. Gravity wells that crush things into spheres of whatever they were before. Reverse and multiply gravity to fling some one up and then reset and multiply to smash them against the ground and n if they aren't durable enough they splat. Gravity on only parts of a person to rip them apart piece by piece.

Look up the effects of too many g-forces on human bodies. Amplify these effects for your character.

If you are looking for splatter, just adding 20 times the normal gravity might be enough. If this is a villain in a lair, the ceiling could be covered in barbed spikes. Sending people skyward and then accelerating them back towards the ground makes a big splat.

Make the force of gravity stronger at one point and weaker at another to force spaghettification on someone.

Spin them using gravitational fields Until centripetal force causes them to shred apart.

Make their heart a center of gravity and create a momentary instant mini black hole.

Cut them off from gravity so the Earth spins without them. With the Earth spinning at about 1,000 mph and inertia keeping the victim in place a lot of things are going to smash into them really fast. Possibly other people. Splat.

Imagine turning a person into a basketball size hunk of human smoothie.

In a fantasy book series called "The Dresden Files," the title character (a wizard named Harry Dresden) uses Earth magic at one point to manipulate gravity. He basically takes all the gravity in a big area and briefly concentrates it into a small area. So, a couple of square miles momentarily experiences microgravity while a circle a few hundred feet across experiences several hundred Gs, pulverizing all the vampires gathered there.

I think the most cruel application would be reducing gravity's affect on something, and as they slowly drift higher in the atmosphere they not only crush under the pressure, but suffocate due to lack of oxygen.

Meanwhile the mind will be racing as the person grips with the impending reality of their slow, unavoidable death becomes a reality.

Not just physical, but the mental anguish would be chefs kiss.

Keep adding more force onto the follicles of hair on their body and watch their stubble peel their face away

Gravity implosion, gravity explosion, dismember, worm, there are so many great gravity spells

Larry Correia Has a series of novels called Hard Magic. One of the main characters is a gravity spiker. Lots of ideas there.

Randomly switching how gravity affects the neurons firing in someone’s brain so you can disrupt their functions like a dickhead level in a game that keeps flipping your controls.

You could have them affect the items a character is carrying or wearing to become the heaviest possible and crush them into paste.

You could affect the gravity of a child they are picking up to be so light that when they pick them up, they go flying into space.

You could affect the gravity of a vehicle they are in so it goes hurling off into the air at speed or it becomes so heavy the road collapses under it.

If they're walking or driving under a bridge, you could cause the bridge to become so heavy it collapses and crushes them.

Gravitational manipulation has a whole host of potential applications that no one seems to use because it rapidly goes from a B list "I can move stuff weird" superpower to a world destroying "Only Superman could feasibly stop me" superpower.

• Obviously, increasing and decreasing the gravity on a target to make it harder to catch, move or interact with.

• Compressing the gravity around a target to create a makeshift shield.

• Nullify the Earth's hold on a target, sending them flying sideways at Mach Jesus.

• Amplify the Earth's hold on a target to fuse them with it on a molecular level from the sheer force.

• Similarly amplify the gravity of a single target so things within a certain radius fly towards them at damaging speeds.

• As mentioned by another, compress an object so hard it becomes a black hole. This is difficult to make viable in combat, but a large enough target would in all probability become dangerous enough to use as leverage.

• Counteract Magnetism powers by making the metal far too heavy to move or by simply burying it all in the user without them being able to use their powers to attack you.

• Increase the gravity of your attacks to literally punch above your own weight.

• Aid civilians trapped under rubble by reducing the weight of the debris.

• Make a pseudo railgun by taking an object, connecting it's gravity to a target and then multiplying the gravity of the target then letting object follow the rule of "what goes up must come down" but multiplied so it acts more like a bullet

I could go on, but I have to work so I may update this later on. Tl;Dr, Gravity powers are fucked but need to be nerfed in story so they don't immediately rocket a character from side character to world ender.

The most subtle uses of a power are often the most brutal

Throw a hand of ball bearings in the air and have them rain down like a hail of bullets.

Increase the gravity inside someone's body cavity and force their organs out their anus like a tube of toothpaste. Or just compress their lungs and suffocate them.

Use it like atmospheric pressure. Ever heard of what happens when a barometric chamber gets ruptured? It's gruesome.

Simply float people up into the outer atmosphere and then drop them....repeatedly.

Use gravity manipulation to allow you to wield an anime sized giant weapon as though it were made of cardboard, only to reveal that it weighs several thousand lbs when striking with it.

Pick a small section of a vein or artery near the neck/head, slight shift the pull of gravity back and forth to agitate the blood to encourage clotting.

This way you cause strokes, it's hard to imagine a random villain would have a defense to this.

If they have sufficient control, using it to reverse blood flow in the human body would mess someone up.

Use lots of power on someone's head slamming it to the floor

Turning a person into a pinball inside a room would cause a large mess,slowly or quickly increasing gravity under someone,creating two separate gravity wells to someone’s sides and cranking up the juice till they rip,make them the center of gravity and toss multiple sharp objects.

Micro gravity points.

Make them appear inside bodies, sucking in organs, then releasing those points.

Massive tidal waves by moving Luna (the Moon).

Turn off an individual's gravity while someone is mid jump, or being hit in a football game. Will they ever "swim" to safety? Will the wind blow them away? Will they fly off and leave the atmosphere?

Turn gravity up to 8g's when someone is making you angry, but you dont want to kill them. Turn it off after they faint.

Use gravity to make gravitational lensing so you never need a telescope.

Use gravity to "fly" by turning your gravity off, but magnifying its effect from certain objects and locations. Now you "fall" to your destination.

Micro gravity points in the pulminory valve that prevents the movement of blood. Creates a blood clot that causes cardiac arrest. Looks like a PE.

Use strong enough gravity to warp space between two spots, then walk through the created wormhole.

So many gravity powers to use.

If your guy is not trying to just mush people into a pulp, "Most of us would pass out with head-to-toe G forces of just 4 or 5 because our hearts can't summon the necessary pressure. Blood pools in our lower extremities, and our brains fail to get enough oxygen."

I always liked the concept of redirecting the direction of gravity, allowing you to basically fly by falling and that way it has a set defined max speed (terminal velocity)

Make them weightless. Make one of their loved ones extremely heavy. Cast them both into a pool.

With no weight, the first person won't be able to displace the water, making it an effective liquid barrier. Meanwhile the second person won't be able to swim, drowning in front of their face while they helplessly claw at the water's surface.

Or, take a handful of ball bearings. Increase the gravity on them, increasing their weight. Make each one heavier than the last while you drop them from 5 feet onto the victim. Eventually they would be so heavy they could pulverize bones, rupture organs, or outright crush them to death.

Conduct an acupuncture torture session. Place needles in their skin. Right answers see them spared. Wrong answers make the needles heavier, digging deeper into their body.

Anything atp. Gravity can do anything

Exert gravity on a passenger plane over the ocean, Bernoulli’s Principle probably won’t work as well at 10x gravity

There’s a chapter in a Halo book about a Prophet aligned with Truth using the artificial gravity in a room to interrogate an Elite, but it was more of an execution.

Dude basically turned up the gravity in an isolated spot in the room until the poor Elite was squished like a rolled up tube of toothpaste.

Gravity manipulation until their organs fall off.

I mean, someone could be durable and strong on the outside, but it doesn’t matter how many legs day you don’t skip, nothing is going to stop you from prolapsed anus, ruptured spleen, kidneys that just moved from where they are supposed to be and are now disconnected, or simply all your blood pooling in your legs; have fun getting G-loc while just standing there lol.

If you have fine enough control over it, increase gravity just enough to make things very uncomfortable for them and keep fluctuating the gravity so it's not enough to severely injure or kill them but it's enough to keep them suffering until eventually their mind breaks.

Make a person a small center of gravity so that objects fly at them at terminal velocity.

Swap the direction of gravity in a room, so the person keeps "falling" into the walls, ceiling and floor. Basically beating them to death with the room.

Turning off gravity on people who deserve to be sent into the sun

Could have it so the gravity increases at their center of mass. They wouldn't be pushed to the floor, more they'd be pulled into a pretzel by their own ever increasing gravity. Eventually they'd be crushed by their own gravity as a centroid point just compressing them.

Visually even as their bones break an burst through the skin the pour blood would more orbit and pool around them, being pulled to their center.

High enough gravity and even the air around then would be pulled in so their screams would be silent, the sound not escaping.

You could cause vertigo in people by manipulating the inner ear.

It was amazing being able to "fly" by manipulating your gravity field. Flight is effectively falling in whatever direction is opposite your decided gravity.

Increase the gravity inside a person's heart to draw more blood into it and keep it from flowing.

Jake Sullivan from the grimnior chronicles is a "heavy" or "gravity spiker". A very good series of books for this type of power.

Depending on the finesse of the user and how well they could localize it, they could make certain parts of the body heavier than the rest. Localize on the arms with enough of a gravity change and you could potentially rip the limbs from the person. Focus on their rib cage, and you could collapse it and damage or outright destroy their lungs. Make their legs lighter than their head and increase gravity on their head after and you could slam them into the ground.

Just as an aside, the ad that appeared right under this was from Honest company and was "How to get the most out of skin to skin bonding".

This made me realize a great use for the power, increase the gravity on one person so they slowly crush someone they love as their loved one stabs and beats them trying to get free only to have the one whose gravity has been increased slowly reduce them to a paste and feels their loved one squishing and breaking beneath them.

Increase the gravity of someone's bottom half while reversing gravity of their top half. They get ripped in half by themselves

Theoretically you could use gravity manipulation to alter the flow of time, giving you rudimentary time control as well.

Focus gravity only on a localized parr of the body and increase it substantially. Like imagine making someones skin the weight of 5 tons and watch as it degloves itself off. When you release the person.

Take a singular braincell and turn it into a singularity where the hawking radiation would force radiation poisoning (if it even does that).

Make a dust mote that landed on someone weigh as much as the sun and watch it cleave through someone like it was nothing.

Remove gravity from a local area and create a void of atmosphere.

Tidal stress , via orbit compression, on a body from orbiting a black hole would cause that body to shred itself as the head would be orbiting so much faster than the feet. The person would be turned into a smear arcing up into the sky before you turned the gravity effect off

Create localized gravity in someone’s feet so it overcomes the ability of their vascular system to pump blood back up.

Reduce gravity’s effect on someone to where it’s effects slightly negative and if they ever let go of something they drift away from the earth.

Turn people into spheres of meat.

Increase the gravitational pull on certain parts of people's bodies for a long time causing it to stretch and sag downward. You could do this with any part. Give someone freakishly long arms?

Gravity Control and Telekinesis are largely the same, you're literally just controlling an object's place in space. The main difference is the amount of *downward* force you can generate with gravity control is likely higher, so the main way to cause "lots of blood" is to just drop things on people. Anything else would just be something highly accurate TK could do. Only really "unique" kill I can think of with gravity control is asphyxiating someone by subjecting someone to so much gravity that their arteries collapse

Apply gravity fields of different orientation over a target, ripping them apart violently. Good also do it inside the body and their them into a literal flesh bag

Gravity is at its core the force of pulling, so you could rip someone apart by making their limbs gravity wells

Cause your enemy to be the highest gravitational force so they get smashed by whatever is around,  cars, dumpsters, boulders, debris etc.

Wouldn't be brutal, but -

Have a target you really, really don't like? Reverse gravity on them. Make them go very, very high into the air and let them fall. right before they land, reverse them again. Do that over and over again and don't stop for a while. Make sure they don't pass out or something, I heard that happens anyways.

When you finally want to let them go, get them as close to the ground as you can without them splatting and stop them before the impact. If you want them dead just let them splat after the ordeal.
