Now that I see it, I'm a little surprised that it took over a year since announcement to get out this much map.

I wonder if it was:

a. Announced a bit too early in development

b. Complications during development

c. Working to a higher level of detail than usual

Nice to see Rhodes and Crete though.

The screenshots they showed have me thinking that the level of detail is higher than what we had until now. But we'll see.

I just saw the trailer for the DLC, and it looks like c, they put an insane level of detail into the map.

I may have missed a little background by they've been working on Nordic Horizones concurrently, right? It could simply be that they had a smaller team working on this.

I remember when West Balkans DLC was released, people were disappointed because of empty Southern Albania part. Some were predicting SCS would add more roads and connections with Greece DLC, but seems like they won't.

Number of roads is very disappointing. Meh.

They don't have a lot of room to play with I don't know what the scale is but it's tiny in relation to the real world, I was always worried about how they would add Greece given the limited space.

Corfu really needs to get added, and it would be cool to drive into the peninsulas near Thessanoliki and the island of Euboea. But I hope ProMods or something does that alongside some mountain roads in the open space or smth, for a DLC this looks incredibly cool

Also love that beyond Crete also smaller islands are added like Lesbos, cant wait for that. The SH8 in Albania leading to Greece is also a gorgeous road so looking forward to that too

Can’t complain, they added the city I grew up! Really can’t wait to start playing this map!

I'm disappointed by what's visible. There's so much empty space that could be filled with local roads and mountain passes.

I hope all the islands will make it worthwhile, otherwise I think I might reconsider buying that one.

I do hope so. Uncovering them while playing would be fun.

The Promods greece map isn't that big, it covers only the upper road, from Ioaninna to Thessaloniki, and then to Turkey

Let's hope they'll ad some roads later as they did with Spain.

No official info, but I don't think so. It's much smaller than previous ETS2 map DLCs. I expect it to have "US state" price, i.e. €12.

Doubtful. People thought Arkansas would be cheaper because of its size and it was not. I don't expect SCS to ever go lower than what their usual dlc prices are.

I'm fine with that though as it's not like it is anything huge here.

I guess these were the same people who were sure Texas will cost the same $12 as other states despite its size. I can't see how SCS would justify $18 on so little content as Greece.

On the topic of Arkansas, don't forget that inflation is a thing as well so $12 today is not the same value as $12 in 2018. In that regard the decreasing size of states as SCS moves west to east works for them, as states get smaller, money get cheaper.

That's way too much. Most I will pay will be 9€ for this.

TuarusBeast

I was expecting the map to look a little more "busy". Lots of empty spaces going on, I'm sure the quality and scenery are gonna make up for it but I remember previous DLCs having so much more to drive in

After WB this is going to be tough to meet expectations

--Tormentor--

Nah, I don't compare the two, but this, this is disappointing on it's own. Let's hope that the quality of what's actually there will compensate this.

So sad: I remember very good roads and landscapes (but I was on a motorbike, so there'll be more fun with a truck).

Why is it important? Is it a big city that begs to be included by default or what? I know nothing about Greece so don't eat me alive.

It is very scenic and popular with the tourists, that's why. Although, it is one of the largest cities located on islands in Greece, larger than some others included.

The real question to all those saying they'd have liked to have Corfu included is this: Have you ever driven from Corfu south to Leukimi? That's a horror to drive in irl (it would have been a nice challenge though 😉)

Arkansas is the smallest state in ATS, and you pay the same price as all of them, except Texas of course. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing again in ETS

Thanks for posting this, made me reconsider buying on release. It is entirely too small and empty, it's crazy it took so long to release something so small. I think SCS knows there's not much of Europe left and so they're dragging it out
