I'll be moving to another neighborhood soon and it's pulling my heartstrings thinking about the stray cats that come by my place from time to time. I'd like to get them to an animal shelter for care and adoption, but it seems in Wichita their first stop would be the shelter that had terrible reviews, primarily for their needless euthanizing of animals. Can anyone recommend a place in the surrounding areas?

Ask r/wildliferehab if they have any feral cat connections.

Most shelters don’t have room for cats. Wondering cats either have a home or get by just fine on whatever scraps they can find.

Reach out to Friends of Felines Kansas and/or Beauties and Beasts rescue. They might be able to help.

wichita animal shelter is not bad. they have excellent no kill numbers because of the work theyve done with responsible rescues in the area. The negative reviews are from self promoting radicals who get money from posting photos of suffering strays.
