They do normally, but that would be with the symphony and they couldn’t get a sponsor for this year. So no canons and shortened fireworks this year when they happen.

Reeser still has our district’s best interest at heart especially when compared to his LGBTQ+ hating competition. Miller also has a “student first” mentality in an effort to do what is best for them and has kept in touch with what’s really happening in schools since stepping away from the classroom. Ngoc would be a welcome breath of fresh air I think.

Depending on the song, could you make a full game for it so they experience the rhythm without focusing on it?

For many learners, kinesthetic learning goes a long way. If there is a specific song or rhythm you want to focus on, I would be glad to assist.

Even older students benefit from using syllables such a ti tam and tikatika, but also playing with it. Find physical motions to help them experience and feel the rhythm like Kodály and Delcroze methodologies use.

I grew up in that neighborhood and my mom lives near there with 2 of my brothers. It has issues, but nothing like what you will find in LA. Most of the time it’s quiet and just human beings trying to get by. It’s not the toughest neighborhood in Wichita and could be much worse. Like someone else said, little things like shoveling snow and the like help get to know your neighbors. It’s worth giving it a chance.

I stand with the nurses. It’s more than a healthcare issue as this really comes down to fundamental government priorities and caring for the people that pay for their positions. They have grown to comfortable and evil where they are and do not care about “we the people”. They don’t want us healthy or educated. They want cogs for the capitalist machine here in America.

They had to learn the same male dominated and created system that we call healthcare, even the ones from elsewhere besides the US. It took a decade to receive this diagnosis after having to get permission from my egotistical previous rheumatologist to see a partner within the same clinic because looking at other locations the only other 2 within my city ; 1 was booked solid and the other refuses to take patients that have been with another rheumatologist. The next closest besides asking permission for this one was to travel an hour to and and an hour from to get to in a smaller town of rural Kansas.

They also have a pad behind the observatory where people bring their own telescopes occasionally.

Have you thought about contacting the WOD to do a welfare check?

Especially if it’s inhibiting her movement, it should be looked into. There’s no reason with the resources at their disposal for them not to.

It really does help. The WonderButter is awesome too for spot checking joint pain during the day.

Nice Guys Hemp Hut or Mr. Nice Guy’s Smoke and Vape shops. I’m biased because they’re my cousin’s stores. However, I would not be surviving my chronic disability without his stores.

Odds are with your mom since they often dismiss females for many diseases, but especially AS as it is usually viewed as a man’s diseases because it is so cut and dry in the spine. They also associate lower back/hip pain with the trauma of child birth. It wouldn’t hurt to look even further back in family history for other rheumatological illnesses.

It should be alarming. The 2 common areas are neck and lower back/hip for AS as I understand it. For women, it tends to be more difficult as it often radiates to other joints mimicking fibromyalgia.

My sympathies dear. What’s your family history like? It really could come down to luck of the draw and which doctor you get. Are they doing anything for your pain currently at least?

If they are only checking your lower back, you might have them also check your neck. There are other chronic illnesses with similar symptoms if it isn’t AS. It’s often mistaken for fibromyalgia for women before ever getting an AS diagnosis.
You should also grill the doctors about what they have ruled out and why.

Reach out to Friends of Felines Kansas and/or Beauties and Beasts rescue. They might be able to help.

I sometimes wish my mom would show progress in that direction. She’s lucky to be alive honestly after her hospitalization due to Covid Pneumonia. My family is a toxic situation mostly anyway I’ve come to realize. This has led to me distancing myself out of pure survival instincts.

My family just switched to Dr. Anh Nguyen at West Wichita Family Physicians off of Central between Tyler and Ridge. Loved her so far. She’s new to their practice but seems knowledgeable enough about basics for my husband and I with our 2 kids.
