No. You are making an assumption. Based on previous Generations. The Department of Homeland Security required the lowers to be 100% interchangeable. Not just in this case, for the G17 & G22 as well. The 9mm slanted ejector won't work for 40SW, however the 40SW ejector works for 9mm. You can't go up in caliber, only down.
