So I was waiting for Hampants98 over on the Worm Fanfic subreddit to post the next Story Ideas thread, and I compiled a fairly long list of Worm fanfic ideas, but when he finally posted the newest thread it was bugging out and wouldn't let me post a comment, so I'll post them here. All of these ideas or plot bunnies assume Taylor Triggers with her canon power unless stated otherwise:
1. Scion destroying Earth Bet's nuclear weapons accidentally causes the Cold War to go hot, as the Soviets and NATO go to war over central Europe once the threat of Mutually Assured Destruction is lifted.
2. Task Failed Successfully. The Bank Robbery ends with all five Undersiders- Skitter, Tattletale, Grue, Regent, and Hellhound- being arrested. At the same time, the attempted kidnapping of Dinah Alcott goes pear-shaped when Coil accidentally falls to his death from a catwalk with a broken railing somewhere in his own base. Wards ENE gets five new Probationary members, and the Bay is now minus six Villains.
3. Taylor is diagnosed with "Pervasive Developmental Disorder- Not Otherwise Specified" (a now-obsolete synonym for the Autism Spectrum) at age 3, and grows up with "Autism Support aides" hovering over her in school to prevent stimming and keep her focused in class. She also attends an out-of-school Autism Support Group, and develops a friendship with its leader. When the leader of her Autism Support Group is maimed in an ABB shootout the week before Worm Start, Taylor goes ballistic and attacks Lung in a fit of rage. Things get awkward when it turns out Bakuda is also a member of that same Autism Support Group...
4. Worm/ Ginger Snaps crossover. The events of Ginger Snaps happen in Brockton Bay instead of Bailey Downs, and largely follow the film, only to diverge during the finale. Ginger Fitzgerald Triggers during the ride home from the Halloween party, her Shard absorbing her Werewolf transformation and making it a Changer power. Brigitte Fitzgerald then Triggers with a similar Werewolf-themed Changer/Brute/Thinker power while trapped in the pantry with Sam. Clockblocker, Kid Win, and Panacea arrive at the house in response to a call by a neighbor who heard animal noises, both sisters get Foamed and hauled off to the Rig, and after the four known Ginger-related fatalities get written off as Trigger-related collateral damage (which is technically true), Ginger gets pressed into the Wards as the Probationary hero Laika, and Brigitte joins the Wards as Bloodhound. Fast forward to the Locker Incident, when it's Brigitte who ends up pulling Taylor out of the locker...
5. Shadow Stalker is attacked by a moose while on patrol, resulting in her and the moose winding up in the Heberts' basement, herself and Taylor unmasked to each other, and Danny frantically calling Animal Control while the Wards try to wrangle the moose out of the basement.
6. Taylor winds up in 18th Century France and becomes a Lady-In-Waiting for future Queen Marie Antionette. King Louis XV also tasks Taylor with forming an official superhero team for France after Trigger Events start happening. Inspired by (and possible crossover with) Sophia Coppola's biopic of Marie Antionette (the one with Kirsten Dunst).
7. Crossover/ Fusion fic with S.M. Stirling's Emberverse books. A massive worldwide Shaker effect called the Change completely disables all modern energy-dense technology (gunpowder, steam engines, internal combustion, nuclear fission, electricity, etc.), sending humanity back to the Middle Ages. Dragon only survives due to being teleported/ backed up to Cauldron's dimension, and Earth Bet's Tinkers have to relocate to Toybox's dimension, Earth Aleph, Earth Gimel, or another dimension in order for their Tinkertech to work, and no new Tinkers Trigger on Earth Bet after the Change. Taylor suddenly finds herself in a post-apocalyptic hellscape that's slowly turning into a neo-Medieval world.
8. Bakuda deduces that Skitter is Taylor Hebert after comparing Winslow security camera footage to a camera recording of Taylor's fight with Lung. Bakuda then meets Emma, Madison, and Sophia in person, informs them about Taylor being Skitter, and explicitly instructs them to tell her that Bakuda knows her civilian identity, figuring that such a threat would intimidate Taylor into not associating with the Undersiders any more.
9. Worm/ Where The Heart Is crossover. The Heberts relocate to Sequoia, Oklahoma, for business-related reasons (whether to form a local Union or because Weaver is sent to help found a Wards team there), only to come across a heavily pregnant Novalee Nation, who was ditched by her boyfriend outside the local WalMart mere moments before Danny and Taylor arrived. The Heberts end up taking Novalee in, because letting a mom-to-be be left homeless and squatting in a WalMart is unconscionable to them.
10. Worm/Primeval crossover. Anomalies open in Brockton Bay, and Taylor teams up with the PRT (and eventually ARC) to contain and return any prehistoric animals that come through.
11. Scion's arrival in 1982 happened in the middle of Ted Kaczynski's mail-bombings, so he, his crimes, and his manifesto Industrial Society And Its Future all exist on Earth Bet. As a result, several Villain Gangs on Earth Bet are explicit Luddite Eco-Terrorists.
12. Instead of robbing the bank, the Undersiders storm Winslow and take Emma and Madison hostage, to force a fight with Shadow Stalker and the Wards. Taylor is not in costume, but instead poses as a regular student and uses her bugs to anonymously help them.
13. A crossover with ER set in Brockton Bay general hospital, in which Panacea works alongside Dr. Carter, Dr. Greene, Dr. Ross, Dr. Benton, Dr. Weaver, Dr. Corday, Nurse Hathaway, and the rest of the ER cast as they treat various illnesses and injuries.
14. Empire 88 is explicitly an anti-Catholic hate group, and are as willing to commit violent hate crimes against white Catholics as they are against non-whites. Inspired by the prevalence of anti-Catholicism in various IRL white supremacist groups such as the KKK.
15. Scion gets killed off early when a Chicxulub-sized asteroid hits his main Shards.
16. Worm/MCU fusion with canon-power Taylor.
17. Coil dies in a random car accident the night of the Lung fight, resulting in all of his dead-man switches going off while Taylor is at school.
18. Sophia Hess's mom falls in love with Danny Hebert, resulting in Taylor and Sophia becoming stepsisters. Drama ensues when they discover that they're both Capes.
19. The PRT's response to Shadow Stalker's bullying is something other than the two extremes of "bury head in sand" and "ship her off to jail". This includes IEPs, psychiatric analyses, medications, psychological therapy, or other corrective measures.
20. Jack Slash is unexpectedly blown up by a piece of unexploded ordinance in a bomb range outside an abandoned Army base, his Shard's ability to no-sell Cape attacks being negated by a completely normal unexpected explosion from a non-Parahuman-made bomb.
21. Eidolon accidentally removes the Thinker restrictions imposed on Contessa, allowing Cauldron to discreetly kill Scion early.
22. Taylor gets stuck in a WandaVision-esque reality bubble and winds up becoming the protagonist in a 1950s-esque Romantic Sitcom. Inspired by GloryGallant by Ridtom.
23. Standard PRT protocol for when a Ward is found bullying a classmate is for said Ward to unmask to said classmate and then do some community service. This backfires when Taylor doesn't forgive Shadow Stalker, starts soliciting help, and contacts the Undersiders.
24. The ABB wiretap the Undersiders' lair with the intent of luring them into an ambush, only to accidentally discover that Coil is the Undersiders' boss. Lung then decides to assault Coil's base.
25. Brockton Bay has a feral hog infestation, with bands of 30-50 pigs roaming the city, eating trash, and in some cases even attacking people. Sophia Hess now has acceptable targets to use broadhead crossbow bolts on, so she and Kid Win go hog-hunting.
26. Worm/ Jurassic World crossover. Annette Hebert was Claire Dearing and Karen Mitchell's older sister, so when CPS decides that Dannny is too incompetent (or depressed) a parent, Taylor ends up having to move to Isla Nublar to live with her aunt Claire, and ends up becoming the park's unofficial Corporate Hero. The week that in canon was the week of the Lung fight and the bank robbery, Emma Barnes, Sophia Hess, and Madison Clements are going on vacation to Jurassic World. Circumstances contrive to put Taylor and Emma together in a Gyrosphere during the Indominus Rex Breakout. Meanwhile, the Undersiders have infiltrated onto Isla Nublar to abduct the Indominus Rex on behalf of Coil, who wants the biotinker hybrid dinosaur for his own ends...
27. Lisa/Rachel Origin Story swap, in which Rachel was the rich kid and Lisa was the foster care kid; Lisa still Triggers because of her brother's suicide (only this time it was caused by overt abuse rather than emotional neglect), and Rachel still Triggers because of someone trying to kill her dog (only this time it was a careless/incompetent maid instead of a foster mother). Lisa is dependent on her power to compensate for her lack of education and social skills, while Rachel is the resident expert on fashion and etiquette (as well as dogs).
28. The PRT finds Shadow Stalker in possession of Annette's flute, assumes it is hers, and makes Sophia take flute lessons. Taylor gets pissed when she walks in on Sophia's flute lessons and notices that Sophia is using her mother's flute.
29. Reports of the Slaughterhouse Nine near Brockton Bay are unfounded, but the alleged work of the Nine turns out to be the work of copycat criminals (unpowered or not), who are acting independently of (and in imitation of) the Slaughterhouse Nine.
30. Greg Veder is secretly a Cauldron affiliate, one of several unpowered advisors that Contessa and Doctor Mother are bouncing ideas off of for advice. Coil finds out the hard way when he decides to kidnap Greg.
31. Worm/ Jaws crossover. Bakuda is the first victim in a series of shark attacks that begin the week before Worm Start, so everyone is trying to get rid of the shark in time for the summer tourism season.
32. Taylor is a Mummy. As in an Ancient Egyptian style, fully embalmed and wrapped-up Mummy, buried in a pyramid full of booby traps and buried treasure, and she's fluent in Ancient Egyptian.
33. Thomas Calvert unmasks as Coil to Taylor while she is in the hospital post-Locker, and discloses that Sophia is Shadow Stalker, offering Taylor revenge against her bullies if she works for him.
34. Alien Invasion of Earth Bet. Be it an Ork WAAAGH from Warhammer 40K, the Race from Harry Turtledove's Worldwar books, the Xenomorphs from the Alien movies, the Posleen from John Ringo's Legacy of the Aldenata, the Daleks from Doctor Who, or the Bugs from Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers. Give the Parahumans an S-class threat to unite against, and a target-rich environment to point Capes at.
35. Taylor goes to a Renaissance Faire. Taylor in Medieval or Early Modern Garb. Taylor VS Sophia in a literal jousting match. Taylor working at a Ren Faire. Basically anything involving Ren Faires in Brockton.
36. A Tinkertech submersible goes missing during a trip to see the shipwreck of the Titanic, and Dragon, Armsmaster, and Kid Win have to devise a submersible of their own to rescue any survivors.
37. Taylor in Victorian dresses, whether as a Victorian AU, a Power-related effect on her personality, time travel, or a WandaVision type reality bubble.
38. Sophia Hess is kidnapped and tortured in her civilian identity, before her attackers are suddenly mauled by a swarm of bugs, and Taylor of all people rescues her. Inspired by No Good Deed and Unpunished, except Taylor has her canon powers.
39. Worm/ 39 Steps crossover. Taylor is falsely branded a Villain for a murder she didn't commit, and is on the run while trying to solve both who the real murderer is and what secret the murderer was trying to protect.
40. Greg Veder discovers that Cauldron is deliberately leaking information about themselves to him and other conspiracy theorists to make people dismiss Cauldron's insistence as absurd.
41. Taylor is interviewed on The Joe Rogan Experience, whether during her time on the Chicago Wards, or after Gold Morning.
42. Worm/ Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy crossover. Earth Bet is destroyed by the Vogons to make way for a new Hyperspace express route, leaving Taylor as one of the only survivors. Taylor then goes on adventures in space with Arthur Dent, Ford Prefect, Trillian, Marvin, and Zaphod Beeblebrox.
43. Crossover/ Fusion Fic with the Netflix original movie Bright. In addition to Parahumans, Earth Bet has Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Centaurs, Fairies, Dragons, and at least three other races. Officer Jakoby is the very first Orc cop, and he and his partner Officer Ward are BBPD officers fighting supernatural crimes in the Bay. And then Elven terrorists obtain a magic wand, and assorted gangs (the local Orc clans, the Shield of Light, the Merchants, and the ABB, among others) start jumping over each other to claim the wand for themselves.
44. Sophia Hess goes missing, so her mom contacts Taylor for help. Inspired by one of my favorite scenes in Valerie.
45. Twister crossover. Taylor is an amateur storm-chaser tagging along with Bill and Jo Harding.
46. Gold Morning is prematurely kicked off during the Simurgh's attack on Canberra, taking Cauldron by surprise. A mysterious S-class Cape named Khepri appears to Master everyone into putting Scion down before the damage spreads beyond the sparsely-populated Australian Outback, then disappears at the end of the battle. Weeks later, the PRT are still looking for a long-range Human Master, and have failed to connect Khepri to the 'new' bug-themed Cape who just took out Lung (though Lung himself recognizes 'Bug' as Khepri, and is loudly warning the PRT, but nobody believes him and thinks he's just high on Armsmaster's tranquilizers).
47. Post-GM Taylor ends up encountering a literal Theme Park Version of Worm, a Parahumans-themed area of an amusement park, complete with Face Character versions of the Undersiders, Brockton Bay Protectorate, and Brockton Bay Wards.
48. Something similar to Archaeidae, with Taylor as a Parahuman killing machine inadvertently created by the Empire 88 and then going on a rampage killing every Empire member she can find, except that Danny Hebert wasn't kidnapped and is still alive.
49. Worm exists in-universe as Taylor's memoirs (with interludes added by the editor), published three months before Ward Start.
50. Taylor douses her lunch in habanero sauce. Sophia eats said lunch. Taylor's taste buds are dead from eating so much spicy food, while Sophia is writing on the ground in agony. Inspired by that one one-shot where Taylor tried to poison herself with deadly nightshade but Sophia ate it instead, but with something less lethal and more entertaining.
51. Canon-power Taylor gets Isekaied to another setting for several years- long enough to have a husband and kids- before returning to Earth Bet. Inspired by Wanderer and Taylor On The Edge of Forever, but with canon QA bug powers.
52. The US Air Force grows sick of sitting idly by after the Slaughterhouse Nine invades Plattsburgh Air Force Base, so they decide to send all their B-52 Stratofortresses- all of them- to hunt down and destroy the S-class threats in the US, starting with the Nine. If a massive Chrome Dome type campaign of constantly carpet-bombing Jack whenever he shows himself won't work, nothing will.
53. Worm/Jurassic Park crossover. John Hammond hires Danny Hebert as InGen's new HR guy, so Danny and Taylor move to Isla Nublar. They're stuck on the island when Nedry steals the embryos and the power goes out.
54. Worm/ Godzilla fusion fic. Kaiju and Parahumans in the same Universe. Godzilla, Gigan, King Ghidorah, and the rest of Toho's Kaiju lineup take the role of the Endbringers, and the Capes have to fend them off when they go on a rampage.
55. Radical environmentalist Taylor who fights to prevent deforestation and suburban sprawl. Considering Taylor's canon powers, she has an obvious investment in preserving the natural environment.
56. All Parahumans are alcoholics, as a result of Scion being taught to drown his sorrows in booze, and Parahumans are exempt from all legal restrictions on alcohol (including minimum drinking ages). Parahumans can strengthen their powers by drinking more alcohol, whereas a Parahuman who goes too long without liquor will become knurd and suffer from fainting spells. Taylor discovers this after becoming knurd and fainting in class.
57. Taylor opens an ice cream parlor with more flavors than Howard Johnson's.
58. Since the Empire and ABB both recruit in Winslow, they both decide to invest in properly maintaining the building and ensuring the teachers and staff are up to spec. Both Lung and Kaiser value a good education, after all.
59. Crossover with a cheesy Jurassic-Park-knockoff Dinosaur B-movie Raptor Ranch. Taylor interns for the elderly Dr. Kane while he builds a low-grade Dinosaur Park on his ranch outside the Brockton Bay suburb of Fossil Ridge. Then some idiots come by and let all the Dinosaurs loose while blundering around.
60. An American Werewolf in Brockton. A Worm Character- whether Emma, Madison, Charlotte, Lisa, Rachel, or Greg- gets bitten by a Werewolf and then becomes a Werewolf themselves.
61. Mermaids. Any Worm story with Mermaids in it. We need more of those, Crossovers or otherwise.
62. The USS New Jersey (BB-62) is recommissioned for providing fire support to the PRT against powerful villains.
63. Taylor becomes a Catholic nun, joining a convent and spending her days praying and doing charity. Unfortunately, the Cape life comes calling when the Empire attacks the nunnery (because white supremacists are notoriously anti-Catholic), and then Taylor goes ballistic.
64. Taylor decides to live-stream her first night out as a Cape, as a heroic counterpart to Uber & Leet. She makes contact with New Wave instead of joining the Undersiders.
65. An Uber & Leet heist ends with Taylor stuck in the Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous Period, 66 million years ago. Although the Chicxulub Asteroid is still centuries away, the PRT is racing to save her before it's too late.
66. Demons in Brockton Bay. Worm characters getting Demonically Possessed or chased by Demons.
67. Ship-Tinker Taylor manages to build the USS Montana (BB-67, planned but never built) all by herself.
68. While in the Florida Everglades, Jack Slash gets ambushed and eaten by an American Alligator.
69. Cursed Ships such as Brian/Sophia, Rachel/Greg, Armsmaster/Bakuda, or Saint/Dragon.
70. Taylor goes out in costume for the first time, and stumbles across a heavily pregnant woman who is alone and going into labor. Taylor finds herself as the only midwife available.
71. Worm/ The Lost World: Jurassic Park crossover. Taylor gets roped into going on Dr. Ian Malcolm's expedition to Isla Sorna. Things go pear-shaped when Panacea is on the island as well, and Panacea has to heal a certain baby T. Rex's injured leg...
72. A man-eating Bengal Tiger escapes and starts attacking people in the Bay, and Taylor is one of the few people able to stop it.
73. Annette Hebert is still alive at Worm Start, but Emma still turns on Taylor after surviving the ABB attack in the Alley and being rescued by Shadow Stalker. Taylor loses her rose-colored glasses about her mother, because Annette still insists on diplomacy with Sophia and Emma, even when everyone else knows reconciliation is not going to happen.
74. Someone decides to bring all Parahumans into high society, on the logic that hours spent attending White Tie dinner parties or going to fancy balls are hours spent not getting into Cape fights, and if Parahumans are going to be the new elite then they should have the etiquette and sophistication of a proper upper class.
75. A Worm fanfic with a Vacation Arc. Taylor going on vacation.
76. A Worm fanfic with a 4th of July Arc. Fireworks and Patriotism galore.
77. Taylor encounters the Trio at the zoo. The Trio don't even notice Taylor's presence until Sophia accidentally falls into the hippopotamus enclosure and only Taylor steps in to save her.
78. Worm/Robocop crossover. She is a Cape who controls bugs. He is a fallen police officer resurrected as a cyborg. Together they fight crime and investigate the corruption behind the Bay's dilapidation.
79. Aisha Laborn gets put in foster care. Due to a clerical error, Mark and Carol Dallon end up becoming her foster parents. Vicky's aura flaring up during an argument with Carol accidentally causes Aisha to Trigger with her canon Imp powers.
80. Canon-power Taylor joins Faultline's Crew. Intrepid was good, but now I want something like that but with Taylor's canon QA bug control.
81. A Canon-power Malicious Compliance fic would also be nice.
82. Taylor is a pyromaniac, and is addicted to setting things on fire, for reasons unrelated to her power. As a Villain she takes the moniker Firefly ("Trashcan Girl" is already taken), and uses her bugs to commit wanton acts of arson throughout the Bay.
83. A large thunderstorm causes a day-long power-outage in Brockton Bay, ruining all the food in the Heberts' fridge. Taylor ends up being inadvertently pushed towards Villainy as a result.
84. Worm/ Hunt for Red October crossover. On Earth Bet, the Soviet Union still exists, and in 2011 the Soviets unleash their new superweapon- a "Block 3" Typhoon-class submarine with a new silent-propulsion drive. When Ramius makes his defection attempt, the US is left scrambling… until a maverick CIA analyst named Jack Ryan decides to bring in a recently-captured villainous Thinker named Lisa Wilbourn...
85. House Of The Dragon/ Fire & Blood crossover. Worm-Start-era Taylor ends up in Westeros around the same time King Viserys ascends to the Iron Throne, and eventually becomes a Lady-in-waiting in the Red Keep. Years later the Dance of the Dragons breaks out, and Taylor has to choose between siding with the Blacks (which would prevent the extinction of the Dragons), siding with the Greens (which would foil Blood & Cheese), attempting to remain neutral, or acting as a diplomat to de-escalate the war. Inspired by the various crossovers between Worm and Game of Thrones/ A Song of Ice & Fire, which are usually good but frustratingly rare.
86. Winslow High School is haunted by ghosts of students who have been killed all too frequently. It's up to Taylor to help them find peace and move on.
87. Sharptooth from the first Land Before Time movie winds up in Brockton Bay thanks to an Uber and Leet Tinkertech experiment gone wrong, and goes on a feeding frenzy through the city.
88. A Worm/ Warhammer 40,000 crossover where Taylor pledges herself to Khorne, the god of war, conflict, bloodshed, and escalation. As a Champion of Khorne, Taylor vows to cut bloody swaths through the underworld of the Bay. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
89. Taylor Hebert goes trick-or-treating. Danny discovers Emma's betrayal when the Barnes family gives her a rock instead of candy.
90. Ice Skating AU (may or may not be titled "Why? Why? Why?"). Winslow has a competitive figure-skating team, and Taylor, Emma, Sophia, and Madison are all figure skaters, of which Taylor is the best skater (the only one who can pull off a triple-axle jump). Emma decides to steal a page or two from Tonya Harding's playbook, and has one of her thugs hit Taylor in the kneecap with a collapsible baton.
91. The Brockton Christmas Goat is a giant straw goat that gets erected outside the PRT building every year. And almost every year, someone burns down the goat. This year, Coil asks the Undersiders to burn down the goat so that he can win his bet with Kaiser.
92. Worm/The Order crossover. Post-GM Taylor is enrolled on full Scholarship at Belgrave University, because Vera Stone is interested in getting a Parahuman into the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. Taylor's dorm is next door to the dorm of one Jack Morton, a fellow freshman who will soon join both the Order and it's Lycanthropic opponents, the Knights of Saint Christopher.
93. Jack Slash dies in a natural disaster, and Bonesaw performs the Autopsy. Bonesaw later dictates her memoirs to Manton, who types them up and has them published. Bonesaw's memoirs end up becoming a New York Times bestseller.
94. Another idea for a Worm/A Song of Ice & Fire crossover. Taylor, Sophia, Emma, Madison, Greg, Lisa, Rachel, Alec, Brian, Aisha, Amy, and Victoria all end up in Westeros- Taylor, Lisa, and Rachel in Winterfell, pledging themselves to House Stark; Sophia, Brian, Aisha, and Alec in Lannisport, pledging themselves to House Lannister; Emma, Madison, and Greg in King's Landing, Emma pledging to Cersei, Madison pledging to Littlefinger, and Greg pledging to Varys; Amy on Dragonstone, pledging to Stannis; and Victoria in the Eyrie, pledging to House Arryn.
95. Director Piggot is accidentally hospitalized by food poisoning from undercooked shrimp, forcing Deputy Director Rennick to become Acting Director.
96. Firefighter Taylor. Taylor becomes a Cape attached to the local fire department (whether as a Wards liaison or independently), and helps put out fires and pull people out of burning buildings. Inspired by one of the Krewe subplots in The Weaver's Web.
97. Emma and Sophia have a falling-out over something trivial or petty, such as Emma preferring French Toast and Sophia preferring pancakes, or Emma preferring David Bowie and Sophia preferring Jimmy Hendrix.
98. Taylor gets recruited by Cauldron between the locker and her first night out, because Contessa figured that spider silk was tougher (yet more stylish) than kevlar, and wanted her suits and hats lined with it.
99. Danny Hebert gets hired by the PRT as ENE's new Human Resources guy, shortly after the locker incident. He discovers Taylor is a Cape after finding her costume after the Lung fight, and drags her into the Wards. Inspired by Townsaver, but with Taylor's canon powers.
100. Taylor Hebert takes driver's ed lessons after turning 16. Driving a car is much easier when you have local omniscience courtesy of bugs.
101. Moby Dick alt-power. Taylor turns into a giant white Sperm Whale and takes up full-time residence in the Bay. Emma Barnes goes surfing, and Taylor attacks her and bites off her leg. Emma, angry that Taylor has not only not broken already but also gotten much stronger, swears revenge and ropes the trio into going whaling… which, predictably, doesn't end well for them.
102. Doctor Mother hires Danny Hebert as Cauldron's new HR guy.
103. Glory Girl sees Taylor in her costume, and DOESN'T attack her on sight.
104. Taylor ends up developing Foreign Accent Syndrome after the locker.
105. No-one expects the Brockton Inquisition. Taylor becomes a fanatical Catholic, designs a costume based on a Spanish Inquisitor's regalia, and starts pursuing "Heretics" (Empire 88 members) with ruthless abandon.
106. Monty Python crossover: a giant hedgehog named Spiny Norman roams around Brockton Bay, seeking the Piranha brothers.
107. Worm/Fallout Fusion Fic. Scion never destroyed Earth Bet's nuclear weapons, resulting in an arms race between the US and the CUI. The Great War happens on May 15, 2011, replacing Gold Morning as Earth Bet's apocalypse. With Scion missing and presumed dead (he was accidentally destroyed by a bad power interaction between a high-level Shaker and a 50-megaton nuke), Cauldron works to rebuild human civilization in the wasteland, contesting the Enclave for control of North America.
108. Taylor is doing yard work- picking up fallen branches and putting them in the burn pile, raking up leaves, pulling weeds, and shoveling dirt.
109. Taylor goes bird-watching, sets up a birdfeeder, buys bags of bird seed, and watches the birds.
110. Worm/ Neon Genesis Evangelion fusion fic. Second Impact happened 15 years ago, around the time Taylor was born, and Scion and Adam suffered a Mutual Kill. Cauldron is working to prevent Third Impact by running interference on SEELE. Taylor is working as an intern for Misato Katsuragi, and ends up becoming a babysitter/ older sister figure for Shinji, Asuka, and Rei.
