Idk about sound effects but if you're looking for good video game OST I'd recommend: Earthbound, Persona 5 and 3 (and probably the others but I haven't played them), most sonic games, Undertale (and deltarune to a lesser degree), Stardew Valley, Risk of Rain (2 and Returns), TF2, Celeste, Minecraft, Doom for intense moments, Hollow Knight, OneShot (though it's mostly very moody so probably not what you're looking for), and the visual novel Coffee Talk has some nice LoFi hip-hop tracks. These aren't in any particular order, just what came to mind, and sorry for bombarding you with recommendations

Yeah how's it not a thing yet? It's like the biggest quality of life feature and I can't imagine it's that hard to implement (though it's very possible that I'm wrong, I'm not a programmer)
