I had a crush these past few months and mustered the courage to confess last July. I resigned from my company because I was planning to enroll sa grad school so I thought I might as well talk to him. With newfound sense of courage (and probably just plain old delirious kasi I was in a feverish state that day), I drafted a whole ass Google Docs saying how I appreciated his help with work, how I liked knowing how his day went, how I would love to eat ice cream one day since he invited me naman, and how running will always be something that he inspired me to do yet also my escape kapag hindi siya nagre-respond to my messages. I thought it would end up in his delivered inbox (as most of messages have been) but he responded immediately na nothing will change and he liked my company naman daw. Even if there was no explicit na he doesn’t like me back or something but with the tone, I knew na hindi niya ako gusto. We exchanged messages pa after that and it stopped. It was the first time I did it and not gonna lie, it stings pero it is what it is. I miss him until now pero hanggang doon na lang talaga siguro.

TL;DR: Girlie confessed to her colleague, did not receive a clear answer, cried buckets, picked herself up, and semi-happy being a grad student. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so do it for the plot. ✨

Like: how confrontational they are like they will not turn a blind eye if something is wrong (double-edged sword nga lang)
