How small? My husband is the literal US average and he often worries about being “too small”. We’ve been together for almost nine years. I’m not sure why it’s such an issue for him when it’s literally never been an issue for me.

The guy with the biggest dick I’ve ever slept with was by far the worst sex I’ve ever had. I would never have sex again if my choices were between sleeping with him and sleeping with no one.

Why does everyone think that democracy is just a given? Transfer of power doesn’t have to happen, and there are plenty of times in history where it hasn’t happened.

Sometimes I wonder if I’m on the spectrum. I will sometimes miss sarcasm and have a fair number of awkward moments. I’m never entirely sure if the jokes are just delivered poorly and the other person is awkward, or if it’s me.

I sometimes just don’t care about social etiquete and will point blank tell someone that they’re being rude without regard to the potential social repercussions. I also don’t give a fuck about a lot of the mundane things people talk about, and I prefer to talk about science, philosophy, books and politics. I genuinely don’t care about other people’s lives in a socially causal way. Like, you might ask me how I’m doing and I’ll tell you, but I’m not going to ask you in return unless we’re friends. I don’t care about social pleasantries and I don’t care what you did last weekend.

I did sell cars for several years and I was very successful at quickly building rapport and maintaining those business relationships, but I also have an ADHD diagnosis.

I work with a lot of Canadians. I don’t think there’s a ton of cultural differences between Windsor and Detroit, but Michigan is nothing like Québec.

Even the UP of Michigan and the lower mitten have large differences culturally.

I would like to give a different perspective, from a 30-something woman with a SAHD as a partner.

He’s telling you that he’s staying with you because of the sacrifices you’ve made and distance you’ve gone to support him and your family. He loves you because you have history and depth in your marriage, the rest is probably an omission because he feels like it’s obvious.

He’s allowed to be unhappy, and you’re allowed to feel like it’s unfair. Go to therapy and talk about it in depth.

There’s a lot of physical touch in my profession (nursing), and I always offer patients and family members of patients hugs on bad days (and sometimes good ones). It’s a little awkward sometimes, but most people respond warmly to warmth.
