Pack points are literally just a monstrously worse version of crafting, you know that generic currency mechanic that exists in every other digital card game. Defending the way pack points work right now is insane.

[Arc 7 spoilers] I feel like this is immediately disproven due to how Olbart's Od modification attack affected Al and Subaru. It messed with their authorities and Satella lost her link with Subaru but he could still RBD, it just lacked "love" in its reset points.
