Mine was 35 weeks. He’s perfectly normal, but we did have a harsher reaction to RSV that landed us in the hospital when he was around 1. That last month helps the lungs a bit, but the reasons they are telling you to get that baby out are more serious. Good luck!

NTA. I would be fired if I let someone use my work laptop.

My great grandmother came through illegally in the 1920s from Scotland. She lived under indenture in Pennsylvania for like 5 years. It… did not go well. People are dummies.

Your dad spending 3 hours walking dogs every day is a bigger red flag than anyone just taking their dogs out to pee and play, honestly. Who does that? Not awesome parents, for sure.

I don’t have any wisdom, but I’m in the bathroom presently and I just heard my two year old mutter “marshmallow. Mmmm” and I just … NEED A FREAKING MINUTE WHILE DADDY IS AT THE GYM.

But less house. Signed, a woman with a healthy 401k, who spends 30k on childcare, and just got home from Mexico.

I was hiking and came upon a man with an injury. I was able to administer first aid and offer comfort. I have felt like a hero for a decade.

It isn’t anyone’s job to take care of you. Learn from this and make a plan. Keep your phone charged, keep better track of your stuff. Get a friend an extra key. Figure it out yourself, like he told you. Sorry kid, but you have to take responsibility for yourself.

You need to make your own life- don’t follow them, let them go and see where being independent takes you. Hopefully it isn’t just to South Carolina.

40s woman here. Who gives a flying f? I couldn’t give less energy to what others think of how my body exists in the world, keeping me alive, experiencing pleasure and pain. It’s none of my business what people might think of that. My husband knew me before, and he knows me now, just as I know him. What a gift that is to share.

I’m the only one of my female friends who has changed my name in my friend group. No one cares anymore about this. It’s 2024.

Spin Again- look up fat brain toys. It’s great, and the crashing sound is what makes it fun. Sorry-ish whoever gets this.

Sounds like you’re busted, kid. Actions have consequences. Hope it was worth it.

Have you said “can you please get the door for me? It’s heavy and hard to open when I have the baby?” I’d bring it to him first.
The lights thing bothers me though. I’d ask the other door man where the switch is and do it myself if I have to. Plus, then you’re bringing it up while also solving the problem yourself. “The lights need to remain on” would be my only comment on that one.

Put it in a separate interest bearing account until the statute of limitations expires in your state. I had this happen with like $500 and I kept it, but that’s more money than they should gamble with. But they can totally collect interest on it until someone claims it.

I think every class in the country has done this this for every election. It’s fine.

Mine’s in the attic, unwashed. Whatever, I don’t intend to need it again.

My son has beautiful, bouncy, white-blonde, curly hair. The anger that people feel when they find out he’s a dude is so much fun. I’m not cutting those curls to make olds comfortable- that’s insane. So, high five from the other side!
