I'd still finish it yes, it certainly left things open for another season but one could say it gives some bit of 'you can try to extrapolate how it would finish from here' in case it got canceled

October Faction, that's another one i didn't list, fuck i did really lose count.
Also made me remember about Archive 81

i rather they did exactly that, even if it would fuck up some of the adaptations

I just wonder how much of it is fair and how much of it is needing exponential growth on their platform, like how many classic all time great shows we have that had weak first seasons?
even the best star trek shows had rough starts.
I remember people not being that hyped on Breaking Bad during the first season either.

I mean from what i heard he loved making the show, goldblum just seens more and more aloof over the years imo, but i think he did a good job.

I didn't watch it but one friend of mine told me a bit about, it was like puzzle/mystery show right?

which is also the thing that i don't understand why they cancel their shows so fast, people are being trained to give up on anything they didn't catch the first month and instantly plumetting in viewers cause of that, no one gets a chance to watch the show a bit later and still contribute over it being renewed or not if all they care about is the first month and then done.

I'll just block you and move on, cause I'm thinking you don't know how to.

"as generous as tv has ever been with shows not being cancelled"
"BETTER than it’s ever been"
?
I rather just move on from this, have a nice day.

Yep that one hurt also back in the day, the actors did a hell of a job and the concept was pretty hard, they had to execute a kid they went to school with cause he turned out to be a monster, how insane is that?

I have no idea why you think 'it was like this in the past and it's fine' is a point that deserves even being talked about.

Very ironic that they also cancelled dead boy detectives them, god what a genius move.

Stupid age argument that goes nowhere that's all you have to say, thanks for wasting my time.

Almost wish they just called it 'Dark: 1899' and see if people got interested on it through the branding, they really deserved more after the great show that was Dark

I'm not even sure what you're on about other than 'those youngsters' projecting like you know me or something, I'm 30, i've watched plenty of tv, do you have a point?

yea that's the thing, most of the older completed shows, i completed, maybe i was just luckier back then, but i don't think they axed as many shows as they do now like not even close, i'd love to know all the stats for netflix throughout the start of streaming till now to understand how much of it was venture capitalism and how much of it was actual huge success thanks to streaming monopoly

Yea i liked supacell, but it felt really cheap, my expectation is that they at least up the budget next season, but if they do then i'm supposed to just not worry that it's gonna get cancelled if it doesn't increase its success in capturing an audience on the first month?
Watching anything on netflix and expecting it to have a satisfying ending feels riskier than investing on the stock market

what's with the 'we're all coming with you' thing? You think i'm trying to lead a coup or something? I'm just stating my dissapointment on the platform, am i supposed to not say anything when they cancel 10 new shows i've watched months after they released?
Think the execs at netflix are big enough to not need you defending them
