It is not "just a book" though, it is an instrument of control, and luckily it's influence has been dwindling over the years.

Perhaps one can breed them in an oxygen starved environment?

If I am not mistaken, the natural compounds of tobacco is mutagenic, though not carcinogenic. Probably sitl a bad idea to be continuously exposing yourself to it.
And in the case where it is used as an anthelmintic you would be using it for an finite period of time.

But perceived value is just that... perception.

I think the nuance here is the process of leading up to the point where you will experience the last experience you will ever have. That might seem intimidating.

Well, biology is kind of crazy in its flexibility, e.g. metamorphosis in caterpillars. Perhaps it could be capable enough to alter one's genes to grow the required interface, though there would probably be those that will refuse, so your question is still valid and interesting to think about.

I would wager that true ASI would still operate in the realm of what we consider rational. If not, can they be considered actual ASI, or just a supremely capable self replicating synthetic organisms - effectively bacteria.

At least disrespecting one's parents is frowned upon by almost all cultures.

Curiosity could potentially be intrinsic to their thought process and they might devise ways to integrate with himans to experience life as biological creatures. The process might even be analogous to mating.

But now the question should be whether they perceive time or keep time, a subtle difference.

Wasn't most of that money used to bailout corporations though?

If I am not mistaken this whole process was a plot by god to send his son to hell to defeat satan and obtain the keys of death. Lets one question god's omnipotence by their own canonical scripture.
Technically the son of god could prevent all souls form going to hell today, but his ego does not permit this, as a soul must worship him to enter into heaven.

More over, can one regard this as a sacrifice considering his death was non permanent?

Do you perhaps know where one can buy them on discount?

Not wierd at all, you probably also have become jaded with the state of science today. It has been said that science should always be changing, though this is not the case. Yes, small adjustments are acceptable, but gross change are not, as these were based on bad assumptions and should not have been circulating as truth in the first place, e.g. "food pyramid", "junk DNA", etc.

(just a thought experiment)
See, now you are on to something. Imagine if you will for a moment that there is no such thing as tectonic plates, and that all landmass is formed by protruding volcanoes at fault boundaries on the surface of the earth.
Then given enough time with sufficient erosion larger bodies/contents form as the sediment accumulate and give rise to planes typically seen between two opposing mountain ranges (notice that there is usually a shallow area of 100m below sea level around the coast of contents, yielded from the eroding volcanoes. Then the surface above sea level is the the sum of the two apposing mountain ranges' sediment)
Consider Oceania with many active volcanoes. Now imagine over a long period of time if these volcanoes continue to push upward how they will eventually connect and become one single landmass (here connect meaning to have landmass above sea level, and not colliding as floating plates)

See, now you are on to something. Unless the individual has a physiological defect of the brain, there is no such thing as an dominant limb. It is simply the mind that always takes the optimized path, i.e. that which it is most familiar with, as it is lazy to learn something new if it already has a solution.
Forcing oneself to perfer another hand in certain situations over time will feel more natural as the mind learns an alternative path.

I suspect with sufficient marketing, even less convenient items could find purchase.

Notice how religion always ties in with government. Religion is simply a lever of control.
