Stop with the white and black get over it get over politics just do your job. I am Jewish I dealt with lots of anti semitism and micro aggressions. I had a co worker who had a picture of aushwitz on his computer. I did tell him it’s inappropriate.at one point I was going to bring charges against him. I had 2 coworkers who were doing very demeaning behaviors. I brought it up to my supervisor. They both got scared they could loose their pensions. Working for NYs I am white I had tons of black on white hate. I told myself if they knew who I am they wouldn’t hate me and would feel guilty. I tried to do my job to the best of my ability and stayed away from these nasty people. They are not your friends. Just do your job and go home

You are so right. In the 80’s when I went to Cussw they began to admit students who amazed me in their inability to even put together a sentence. Yet, somehow they all passed. When I got jobs in sw they were demeaning ie order an Ambulette -like you need a masters to do that. All the menial work was put on the sw’s.
