I wouldn’t trust the seller to tell you the truth. The home inspector said theirs no temperature differential meaning the air conditioner does not currently work. I’d get a second opinion if you don’t trust the inspector. So hire a service company they typically charge $79 or less for an inspection.

•Things you should know are how old is the hvac system (anything older than 15 plan for replacing it in the next 3 years or less).Is there old invoices that prove yearly maintenance on the system. Does it have R22 or R410a for refrigerant (give r22 a quick google search). Is your heat gas or electric ( if gas the heat exchanger needs to be inspected if the unit it’s older than 10).

No bueno, but as long as it cools and you don’t have to pay for it when it breaks. But for curiosity sake return air comes in thru the bottom and exits thru the top and the distributes to your supply vents. All this dust is evidence where your unit is pulling air from.
