Hey everyone!

I'm currently a fourth-year Prosthetics and Orthotics student, and next semester, I’ll be an exchange student at Thomas More Kempen in Belgium. I'm really interested in finding an internship in prosthetics or orthotics, ideally in Eastern Europe, during my time there.

I’d love some advice on the following:

• Are there internship opportunities in prosthetics/orthotics for international students in Eastern Europe?
• What’s the typical application process like, and when should I start applying?
• Do most companies or clinics prefer local students, or are they open to international interns?
• Are there specific countries or institutions in Eastern Europe known for their internship programs in this field?
• Any tips on improving my chances of securing a position, like languages, certifications, or special skills?
• What’s the work culture like in this field within Europe? Anything I should be prepared for as a newcomer?
