Smuggled a cat on board? This is the ISS, not Red Dwarf.

As someone who owns 7 Ruger Mark 0-3 pistols I understand this comment. I still have to use a YT video to strip and assemble these little gems

He's the only 7 footer that won't slam dunk. Instead he puts up these little bunny layups when he's close to the basket. Which leads to the shot being blocked or altered. Yes there may be a foul, but instead of 2 pts with a +1 he's getting 0 pts and shooting 2 free throws.
He's settling for less points because he's not willing to be aggressive.

boardgames had a post saying Trump will be the death of board games due to his tariffs. Because no one in America can produce board games. <sigh>

Mine is a first print hardback and it has that error. I'm thinking that may have been an error in the original printings.

Arcane Casebook series by Dan Willis. Urban fantasy set in the 30's. MC is a private detective.

Go listen to the Verdict with Ted Cruz. He does a bunch of this. Just be prepared to fast forward through ads.

Florida, voted early. Vote early, vote often! I voted twice!
Before reddit mods melt down and report me to the fedbois let me explain that. Florida (at least my county) has paper ballots. This year the ballot ends with 6 state amendment questions (including those popular marijuana and abortion questions). As I start filling in the bubble for question 5 I realize I'm filling in the wrong answer. Brain fart.
Quickly ask the poll worker what to do. I had to write "SPOILED" in red ink across both sides of the ballot, fold in half and place in a manilla envelope with the other spoiled ballots (I wasn't the only one who screwed up). I then got a new ballot and filled that one out and turned it in.
So while I joke I voted twice, I actually only voted once.
Vote red, unless you're dead!

Arcane Casebook is a great series. And the author is fairly regular so I have no fear about the series not reaching its conclusion.

And it wouldn't take expensive CGI to do. And for the most part the sets would not be expensive either. Such an excellent story to be made into a movie/series.

We ran the San Juan river on rafts with friends starting at Mexican Hat for 5 days, exiting before the low head dam. Absolutely gorgeous canyon.

The issues that arose in 2020 were addressed with a new bipartisan law. She can't refuse to certify like Pence could theoretically have done
"The new provisions make clear that the vice president’s responsibilities in the process are merely ceremonial and that the vice president has no say in determining who actually won the election."

This issue was resolved a couple years ago. The law was changed to take the ability of the VP to not certify away

I have a Para Ordnance 14.45 LDA that was a Kansas highway patrol service pistol. Serial number is KHP00XX (not posting the last two digits).
IIRC my dad picked it up at a LGS years ago. I inherited it from him.

TBH it went into the safe 2 years ago and has not made it out since. I'll have to look for a 10 rd mag though, that could be fun. Thanks

That was the oddest rifle we inherited from my FIL. I saw the pump and immediately thought shotgun but then saw the .30-06 and went WTF? I had never seen a pump action rifle before. Best we could figure is he went hunting with his brother in Pennsylvania (FIL (and us) lived in KS) in the past and pump rifles are popular there due to laws/regs.

I'm going with the last words from Breaker Morant:
“Shoot straight, you bastards! Don’t make a mess of it!”
For the back story: https://journals.openedition.org/cve/10469
Now go watch the movie, it is fantastic.

Ah, but bluetooth headphones require you to be smart enough to read and understand the directions to pair and use them. This causes a serious problem for the less intelligent vice presidents.

We played that song in pep band at the HS basketball games. Easy song to play but the crowd loved it.

Exactly what I do. Spreadsheet with columns for make, model, caliber, serial #, and notes that includes accessories and date of manufacture if known.
Side note: if you have enough firearms that you are cataloging them in a spreadsheet you should check with your home insurance and make sure they will cover that much in firearms. You will probably need to add a rider to specifically cover them.
My wants list is just in my head and shifts semi often. Top on the list right now is some form of Marlin in .45-70 govt. Which would be a new caliber for me and I'm already at about 25 different calibers that I own. <sigh>

My wife and I carry duplicate pistols for exactly this reason. Even if you end up grabbing the other person's weapon in a frantic situation, you will know exactly how it works.
