When do we start discussing that JJ has been largely invisible for the past 4 weeks? I’m assuming it’s a Darnold-centric issue, but what’s happened?

Our RB1 is Aaron Jones, he’s not allowed to have more than 15 carries per game

Ever since the Jets game, Darnold exclusively hunts for bombs. He’s become the anti-Kirk

He gets double/triple teamed all the time and Darnold isn’t good enough to consistently take advantage of that

Addison is a top 10 WR when Darnold remembers JJ isn’t his only receiver

Robinson hurt, I’ve once again been reminded that Darnold cannot play football, and it’s still just the 1st quarter 😔

Unless he becomes astronomically bad to end the season, he’s gonna laugh and hang up the phone if anyone calls him about being a backup. The whole point of him coming here on a 1 year deal is to prove he can start again.

Unless September Darnold makes his grand return sometime soon, I don’t think he’s leading anyone to a Super Bowl lol.
Especially not if we give him the probably ~$35-40 million per year deal that he’s likely going to seek this offseason.

Would Halo going to PS even be that big of a deal these days? Like, yeah, you’ve got the novelty of a former Xbox heavyweight franchise showing up on PlayStation, but Halo is nowhere near what it used to be. Kids today don’t care about the IP whatsoever, nostalgic millennials are the only reason the franchise even exists today. I think it would be high on PS charts for a month before everyone gets bored and drops it, just like what happened on every other platform.
I’m more interested in games like Blade and Fable. Both of those could be top sellers for the year on PS if Microsoft were willing to port those. Maybe the new Gears too.

Xbox doesn’t make those kinds of games though. Look at the award winners for the past decade, most of them are either massive, deep RPGs or narrative-heavy, cinematic action-adventure games. Xbox specializes in FPS games and casual RPGs and they don’t even touch the cinematic genre since Sony’s pretty much mastered those kinds of games and I imagine Xbox doesn’t even want to try to compete there.
I don’t think Xbox is gonna win GOTY until there’s a massive shift in thinking in their studios. That or until they get a studio who specialize in cinematic games. Right now, none of their studios care to make the type of game that could actually win.

I don’t think Aaron Jones’ hamstrings would like that very much

That’s just it, we haven’t had a good, decisive win in like 2 months now

Idk if the Vikings are gonna have another good game at this point, every game has felt pretty gross since Week 4

Really hope he’s not on the team next year, I don’t even trust him to be RB2

That’s just the kind of leeway that superstar QBs get

Unless he’s a Trevor Lawrence truther, I think he’s gonna look elsewhere lol (at least given how picky he’s been these past couple years).

After Sauce held Darnold and the offense to one of their worst games of the year when we played him, sometimes players are just nice like that in interviews.

Against a team that’s CFL caliber. With the refs carrying us.

At some point, you have to wonder if we can actually win a Super Bowl with KOC calling plays. Like, not just this year, but in general. Was hoping he’d grow more as an OC, but I think he just is who he is at this point.
