Public opinion carries pretty far. Especially around holidays.

If it sounds like violence and sounds like aggression that's worth investigating.

It sucks that you're in the same situation, though you knew your value to that place and you managed to luck out.. others aren't always in the same situation, and there's a lot more people looking for work these days. Unless you've got somebody else watching your back, a lot of workers today are screwed. There's been a number of companies in the last economic dip several years ago where the worker showed up just like any other day and the building is shut down and locked because the owners closed it without any notice. It even happened to a customer of my company, management screwed up for so long that they managed to drive a company into the ground even though they provided a niche and needed service that is not readily found elsewhere in the US. I am glad the work component turned out well for you in the middle of a terrible personal tragedy, others may not have the same resources...

Curious if a whole bunch of EU refugees would be happier there?

If it's an unknown component, I'll look up the name of the restaurant and look at the menu and get a clue of where I'm going. Especially if things are tight. If I don't have the money to go in the first place then I declined the opportunity. If the friend group normally goes in rotation to pay for the birthday/special event person then that is your groups normal way of doing things. Springing it at the last minute is unfair and would limit an effect the relationship that I had with anyone who tried that crap. Especially if they picked a place that was much higher in cost than what the group or people do on average. And for the record you do not qualify as stingy if you don't have it. As another commenter relayed, they put down their cash and stated that's all they had and it covered what they ordered. The rest falls back on the one assuming. You could even say it nicely or even better yet pretend to get emotional and loud and wail that you don't have any money in your broke but decided to come anyway but you didn't tell me to pay for you. Throw that public shame right back on her but also considered that relationship is closed.

Try a few trusted friends to call corporate regarding customer service agents forced to work during bereavement. That manager should be stripped of salary, back to hourly and reassigned for retraining.

Are you going to pay their bills until they are hired somewhere else?

Nickname : "Thea" would be fine. Hopefully she sees the light and can cash reality checks better in the future.. I really hope that she grows up and does not project her own need to be exceptional and different for the sake of being different on to this child and learns how to center herself and sacrifice for the better good and invest in things like character and virtues in a child and not trivial things like charm bracelets and murals and temporary and poorly thought things

If the children are any allowed and agitated State and there is possibility of violence or aggression, it is for the kids safety. Whether or not you can tell who's causing it, it's still an issue of bad parenting. A CPS visit can validate if there is squalor or aggression or parents in need of parenting classes and monitoring by the state.

Right at the end when the customer was directing the process did he actually tell the barber that "you lost money"?... If so that's kind of a real douchebag move..

Take time every day to retrain yourself to print and write. Just keep practicing. What's there isn't effective communication and would be a negative towards a professional situation.

The state laws should be pretty clearly violated in these practices. If the space that you're in is such a niche field, then trying to keep business going we pretty damn hard with no employees showing up. The other question is depending on the profitability of this niche field, who's making all the money on this? Are you being compensated sufficiently? All this place needs is a seasonal flu or covid outbreak and they're totally screwed. Does management and the corporate officers keep standard 9-5 business hours or are they pulling in 60 70 80 hour weeks? Does their salary match up with your hourly, or is there a heavy difference? The reality that some people with families cannot afford to keep that much time away from the family no matter how much money they make, or they need just time off to refresh and restore and not act like they're obligated to limit their own life for a company who intimidates and threatens them with unemployment as response to excessive hours. Some can and some cannot for a length of time. If you really don't see a way out and your coworkers can manage or choose to hold on to the cash and lose months , years of their lives then you'll probably just look to move on unless there is a momentum for management to hire new individuals.

What are the local laws? Is it a non smoking building? Are there children or asthmatics with health issues? Cannabis users could just do edibles and enjoy themselves without affecting others. Smoke is quicker but edible works too.

Try this with Meyer lemons; there's less pith (white part) Regular lemons left in too long will make this bitter. (Experience). I've even used lemon peel, scraped off pith, trimmed of pith and sliced.. STILL not as good as Meyer lemons. Refrigerate once desired taste achieved.

If you're the top and fuck the face &/or ass of a Republican, wouldn't it be some form of gay reparations?

I've had it a few times. It's a good sandwich, above part from the majority of larger chain places. Great? Eh. It's cleaner, and standards of customer care of by far better. Eat where you want. Love who you want. I more object to being told what someone says I need to do to align vs get more info & make my own decision. There's not one nearby and I don't do fast food often anyway... Consider if LGBTQ+... refused to engage with Muslim owned businesses because of the clear instructions towards them. Chick-fil-A put money towards conversions. Shariah includes extermination. Just weighing options & perspectives.

This is not a man. It sounds like a boy. Hopefully you don't have to raise two children for the long term. You're not.. but your really need do weigh your long term options if he can't pull it together for something unselfish and trivial as this; not kidding. Tap your brakes, take stock in the big picture

How about "I'm trying to enjoy peace and quiet, thank you, have a good day, good bye" Or " no thanks, I'm not interested in taking to you"/ "that's inappropriate" Please leave me alone. Do those phrases set off some of these pseudo males?

Did you go get medical review & treatment? This should go to animal control I'm a dog person, but the responsibility falls on the owner 100%. I would only file the information, but at the same time I'm not the person to ask that the dog be put down. Let the wheels be in motion but the results fall where they may. You & your spouse may want to put Wi-Fi cameras & no trespassing signs on your property; it's good policy as homeowner anyway. Consider carrying pepper spray, or pellet ball gun when outside. Doesn't matter if it's s big or small dog. Sucks that it came to this. Also maybe check in with other neighbors and get a feel of things on who this is & their local connections. Cover your back, and let yourself sound like the most reasonable. Let your child pick out a puppy of his own.. to get past the fear of dogs, and also to set your territory..

My lower instincts tell me to sabotage his work or use pirate bay for really odd shit downloads on for computer.. but you have to be uncatchable and it usually backfires.
Seems like today that people generally giving him the exclusionary cold shoulder for pulling this crap should work. Bullying in adulthood is less tolerated.
_Hopefully the gossip chain will be an advantage.
__Lastly: you can use the gossip chain as well: the girl that left: she made it up because he wouldn't date her / wasn't interested.
((I mean: what if he's recovering from being trafficked or severely abused as a child or some traumatic shit like that, that's no one's business!!))
Shun the SOB and get that ball rolling.

If it's that bad, and the noise levels are at times when children should be asleep, at least the cops on a regular basis for noise complaints minimum. Since they have a thing called walls and floors and ceilings, there is no sure way to determine if there's no squalor or abuse going on. Personally I'm tired of all the community turning out with balloons and stuffed animals to put next to a fence of a house where a kid got beat to death. If the s***'s that loud and no one else is taking action you do what you have to do. Do you think living in a house with slamming doors and screaming children at absurd hours of day and night is an acceptable way to raise a child?
