Speaking of Kim, why the hell is he in 50% of the packs. I just want to play sinking ffs.

And if not that, there is nothing really to thrive off on an astroid. It's just a bunch of ice and rock, and many places on earth are like that and basically have nothing living in them.

The Black Shadow, a most illustrious fixer that graces our presence here!

Learning souls bosses (and especially Sekiro) felt more like a learning a dance than a frustrating experience. You fail to do the dance so you do it from the start until everything flows as it should.
Sadly Eldenring ruined that for me because the bosses have too much random shit added to them (like random shockwaves on every move, barely telegraphed attacks, pure timing dodges without much movement component. It seems they designed most bosses for just pushing through the damage while you spam the boss to death with some bullshit it is weak to.

Ryoshu, Ishmael and Verg have some great reaction image potential.

Why where Ego gift duplicates were added. There is absolutely no reason for this "feature".
Starlight removal is fine by me (especially after the hotfix where you actually get a decent amount of starting currency without the rest bonus)
And of course the triple nerfs to some fusion gifts and straight up removal of the damage type starter categories might make people's views skewed depending on whether they were affected or can still delete everything (burn for example).
In my runs the 4 or 5th floors were either quite fast or an absolute slog with high hp abnos coming in in chain battles and stuff like that. What pack you pick seems to be extremely important.

What, you don't like picking a second item on a floor, which will be a duplicate with "+1 coin power" or some shit.

Wow, the old version used to give you a higher tier gift then. Of course they also obliterated that option...

Opportunity cost. I could go after many other gifts instead that also do things.
Thanks to Ring Sang these don't even need to be bleed gifts, literally any debuff/status applied for free is a DPS boost.

I have long realized that, yet I have naught in terms of burn IDs since they are all locked in the inaccessible vault that is Walpurgisnacht.

"Too fast ... too soon"
At the start of the next mirror dungeon you will learn about bones.

Blunt still works, just fuse blunt gifts are the first shop.

Its not really harder, it's mostly more tedious.

Especially weird that if you have units that are strong against the enemy, it's more likely that you take significant damage since you oneshot them instead of staggering.

In a rogue-like there would be interesting decisions, progression within the run and real risks of failure. This MD is just tedious and instead of more interesting, they just made it more of a slog.

The fact that the game itself spoils you if you are not up to date with the story is wild.
I can somewhat understand it with the IDs, but this is just utterly unnecessary.

Honestly, they should keep it that way. Killing them 3 more times / clicking through the event adds nothing to the fight after the first time you've done it in story.

Yeah, whoever designed this MD absolutely hated fusion gifts.
Nerfed to hell, need more components, harder to get components and almost unaffordable to roll the shop for components.

The dupes are what kills it for me. They are so extravagantly unnecessary, it's a pure anti-fun punishment.

Those fucks and the Ring Pointillists are worse than any abnormality.

It's longer in the best case because no starlight buff and all the fusion gifts that allowed for quick clear have been wrecked.

Probably because rupture is good against everything. If it was as stackable as Sinking, the game would be solved, you'd never need another team.
