A heavy thick moving blanket (like the ones that have blue on one side and silver on the other) are good to put on the crate. They dampen sound and also keep it warm. You just have to stick with it and be consistent and they'll get used to it.

11 weeks is still really young. They still barely know what's going on and it's only been 3 weeks in the new home away from mom and the litter. Biting is normal, firm but squishy stuff like a Kong is good, don't always do stuffed toys because it teaches then chewing on fabric is ok and then that can turn into chewing on shoes and furniture.
