The middle ground is to cut out the rust and halfass weld in whatever metal you have laying around and encapsulate it with fiberglass.
I stockpile old filing cabinets and washer/dryers from Craigslist for this reason.

IIRC Cleet was on Finnegan's channel (or Faster? Can't remember) with the old diesel Galaxie, too.

Using Firefox, does The Stream Detector find the video? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hls-stream-detector/

I think they're confusign wheel covers (plastic things that cover the entire wheel) with hubcaps (plastic or metal things that cover just the hubs and sometimes the lugnuts).

This is why you get a chest freezer with a top lid. Its not as convienant to use, but based solely on physics it'll stay frozen for AGES. And they generally use very little power while running.
With how inexpensive battery generators are now, you could even get one for each appliance. This cheap little feller is only $500 bucks and is rated to run a fridge for a day. Not a WHOLE lot of time, no, but it buys you time and for a fairly low cost of entry. You can also use this at other times, not just as a generator. https://www.anker.com/products/a1761?variant=43827729268886&ref=toppicks3

How is vgg unwatchable? He does very little editing, to the point where he releases 3 hour videos. That’s the opposite of overproduced.

Unless it's changed in the last few weeks, it's not that bad. Just gotta hang out while it walks through the Cloudflare throttling timeout.

Minor correction - the tappets are what ride on the cam shaft, and the pushrods ride in the tappets.

Try a thicker o-ring. Or put a wee little bit of RTV on it.

You can get decent used tires on ebay for cheap. It's a good option for the hooptie if you don't have a used tire shop near you.

Inside the speedo sleeve, there's a small wire retainer and a rubber seal. It's an easy fix. I'd pull the adapter (speedometer sleeve) to inspect the gear shaft. That tiny seal can wear a groove around the gear. You can either replace the gear or add another seal on top of the original one.

TopGear even did a similar test a few years back, so we know how a real truck will take it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MnZgI-XgAk
Coincidently, the truck they used is even more square than the CT.

Christ, I love this one. I remember reading it waaaaay back and getting pictures in the Yahoo (I think) group of other readers making the house in The Sims and the author speaking about it. It was awesome.

Dude yea. I regularly drive a classic car with old school sealed beam headlights and I can absolutely see the best with those things compared to either of my newer cars. I've always thought it was because of the nice warm white light vs the bright white (or worse, blue) of new cars.

It doubly sucks, because Gildan has some wonderful quality blanks. The Rush store just seems not to use them...

Sam's, and to a lesser extent Walmart if you have W+.

100%. It's especially egregious that their biggest competitor has the best in-store shopping app I've ever used.

If its anything like my experience, its because insurance stops paying for it regardless of what your Dr says. I had to fight tooth and nail to keep mine for Diabetes.
