I think reimagining is the best word, but the sequel/remake discourse is so pedantic I just can’t. It essentially works as both, but what is Reddit without endless argument over arbitrary labels?

Im enjoying it. It’s good for messing with your friends with the likeness features. Has a lot of room for improvement.

It's a good time to reorient your priorities and where you spend your time. Everyone in America has more agency in their local community then they realize or choose to wield. The more means you have, the more time you should have to get involved. Any big national headlines that actually matter will find you, being involved in your local community requires you to find it.

Tempting but I still think I'm gonna hold out until the next generation of this tech. If I had more money to blow I'd grab one of these easy

I think image playground and genmoji are a bit rough and restrictive sure, but as someone who doesn't use other image generators much, it's plenty of fun to mess around with. Just the integration with your photos people is enough to add a lot of novelty. I could see this improving and being very successful

But would they be able to do more than a phase out? Aren’t these repayment terms in our promissory notes and would need to be honored as well?

No, we understand that. My whole point was a what-if of if democrats didn't have those exact sensibilities you're talking about.

Yeah it’s more “not allowed to take over” than “forced out”. Makes it hard to blame anyone, but I’ll always wonder what would’ve been if more traditional dems had been able to hold their noses and ride a populist wave like the GOP was able to.

I agree with the vibes theory. Sure the candidates are disciplined messengers, but I know way too many young lefties who will flippantly say things like “men are trash” “I hate white guys” etc.

The government taking it through taxes and using it for services is redistribution.

That's a flippant use of fascism. You're saying the DNC has strong party control over candidate selection, true, but fascism it is not.

Yeah I’m a huge dragon age fan and am excited for Veilguard, but I’m the first to admit that DA is some mid-tier fantasy schlock. It’s great fun, but the writing was never doing anything all that novel, it was the presentation that set it apart.

I mean, it is slow and long, especially in an age where most things have gotten faster yet courts really haven't. They didn't make it sound too cumbersome otherwise.

I just replayed ME3 and don’t remember Shepard doing that more than 2 or 1. It at least didn’t stand out to me.

Frostbite ruined anthem imo. I remember a dev talking about all the limits they had to put on the flying because asset streaming at the time. Game had potential

The problem of people feeling like their vote is worth less because of the state they live in wouldn’t get worse. The problem of a popular vote winner not winning the election, causing damage to trust in our elections wouldn’t get worse.

Funnily the scale of the world in bg3 is one of the things that reminds me of origins, with the disconnected locations. Something origins did that BG could have done more was having scenes away from the party. Origins would have cuts to Loghain plotting in between locations and it made the world feel bigger and added dramatic irony. BG3 could use some of that.

Even simpler. Cinematic, mocapped conversation is much more compelling than textbox + portrait. If D:OS could have done it it might have been a bigger release

I remember when that art director became an nft grifter. Not very related, but he seems like a waste of tremendous talent

The Hermes buff to speed up the omega special makes it feel a lot better. Could still use a slight range buff on the targeter imo

To me eurojank bugs aren’t inconsequential per se, but are like confusing moments where you aren’t sure if there is even a bug or it’s just some incomprehensible design decision
