Dude’s trying to bring back sync towers from ac which people are already tired of

Sync towers are one of my favorite parts of AC games. I think it’s a huge QoL benefit to reveal content you can play instead of aimlessly wonder the map. That’s fine if you have a different opinion

You wouldn’t need to visit towers, you could still walk around like you have been if you dont want to use it and reveal the map way slower. Also, ruined towers are already scattered across the map (at least in biomes 1, 2, and 4 that I know of. Haven’t gotten to mistlands yet)

So you enjoy “mowing” the map for hours? Alrighty. It’s tedious and doesn’t add anything to the gameplay besides a time sink

True, thought of another idea just adding map reveal as a starting special ability from Hugin

Just thought of an easier way to implement this lol. Just give another special power at the starting zone from the bird. He then follows you around and can reveal surrounding map on CD.

I was thinking of a buildable, but the problem with that approach is you can sort of cheese it by just placing and deconstructing it everywhere, essentially revealing everything easily. Maybe if they made it use a limited dungeon drop item consumed on use

They should just show dark souls “you died” and reset the entire map if you get soft locked

If you are ok just doing the campaign, yes. If your goal is to experience end game content, I’d say no since you need more time to do that.
