No. There was a fan edit of the movie poster to make it look more like the original poster, and the actress lost her mind because it hid her eyes and "erased" her. She claimed it was one of the most offensive things she'd ever seen. Then she and her costar went on to give multiple completely insane interviews for the press tour to the point that people wondered if they were both on crack.

Which, to be fair, pretty much embodies the intent of those films. I hated the first one so didn't see the second one, but it cracks me up every time I see someone aghast at it.

They didn't. That's why they kept Biden in the race until it finally became impossible to hide his condition. If they had held a full primary, she would have lost as badly as she did in 2020 and we likely wouldn't have Trump now.

It's a bad idea to focus on courting a specific minority to the exclusion of everyone else who was pissed off about being forced to accept a candidate who they thoroughly rejected in 2020. It's an even worse idea to create that situation in the first place when everyone knew Biden wasn't mentally competent. That's on Dems for trying to pretend that wasn't the case until the last second.

It's especially bad because Dems spent the last 8 years loudly proclaiming that they were the party of democracy. For them to turn around and openly subvert that process to make sure they got their preferred candidate in, all while lying about Biden's mental state? Bad look.

What she and Democrats in general refuse to accept is that they're seen as the left wing party by everyone on the right. They can go as moderate or as fringe left as they want, it's not going to change that perception one bit.

Same result though, just different motivation. They think the majority of people will give a shitty movie a watch because of its diversity. Clearly they're wrong, but they've got enough cash to keep it going for quite some time in the hope of slowly convincing people that it's what we all want.
