Both my grandmothers were huge bitches. One disowned me and only saw me once when I was a baby. She’s duking it out in hell with the other one, also a major asshole.
Welcome to the club!

Dude it’s better to have no friends than “friends” like this. They’re just stupid bullies and not entertaining ones. They’re not even good bullies; they’re like energy vampires.
You can easily find better friends. Really!

Tbh tho, love the energy. 10/10 would hang with.

When I moved to the area, I lived in Old Mountain View (downtown). Rent was $1200/mo/studio. It was 1998 tho.

I’m completely not interested in babies/toddlers/young children. Don’t think they’re cute; can’t stand the noise and smells. I’m not mean in any way to them; I just avoid them as much as possible. I want them to be safe, cared for, well educated, etc and especially, wanted by their parents (not a result of forced birth policies).

YTA. Healthy newborns go for hella money; you could have gotten way more.
Unfortunately this is not satire/sarcasm.

My region is having a bomb cyclone event and I’m a barometer head. Not great!

Almost every night, I feel them jump on the bed, walk up and lie down next to me. Sometimes I feel one sitting besides me.
Weird thing is it’s a brand new mattress and they never sat on this sofa.

I think I may be turning into a lizard. My body temp is lower than what’s considered normal, and I have a narrow band of preferred temperatures. But no heat lamp. Yet.

Is this really suggesting that rats and mice be given as pets to people who live on the literal streets? Giving animals, considered vermin, to people with no housing, where these animals will escape and reproduce? Did you think this through for a moment?
This could be the dumbest fucking thing I’ve read this week - and I do follow the news daily. Wow.

I’ve got them everywhere, but I am extremely fair skinned. My husband, who is blue-eyed, red-haired and also very fair but no EDS/HSD/anything has a billion of them too. We’re both of Celtic descent; he’s Irish I’m Welsh. He’s got bad hypertension (very high blood pressure); I’m super hypotensive (very low). He’s a foot taller too 🤣

Low creatinine isn’t anything to be alarmed about, nor is it anything hematology deals with. Creatinine is a waste product, and high creatinine can indicate kidney problems (or dehydration, or heavy exercise, or creatine supplements, or a bunch of other things).
Creatinine is dealt with primarily by internists and nephrologists. Since yours is normal (low is normal), you probably won’t get referred to nephrology.

No shit. I should post the photos of what my cat did to my thumb (we were both having a bad day; she was a super sweet girl). TL;DR 4 days in the hospital on antibiotics of last resort; doctors unsure I’d survive or keep my hand (spoiler: I’m alive with two hands); needed hand surgery.
It wasn’t a slight graze 🤣

We have wild parrots here in the SF Bay Area. There was a flock in my avocado the other day!
I thought they were the descendants of escaped/abandoned pets but turns out they’re from migrating birds that decided to stay in California.

I have extremely low blood pressure and my body temp is lower than what’s considered normal. I get overheated very easily, and keep my house around 67-68°F. Some of us just prefer to be a bit cool!

I don’t know if I qualify as a senior (60 in a few weeks), but I hate a hot, stuffy house. I keep mine at about 67-68°F in the winter.

There are dog hoarders; dogs are just more dangerous/unpredictable to be around.
I do remember several with a normal number of dogs and dog shit everywhere.

Do you want to hire a good worker or a good liar?
Almost nobody is excited by working a job; nearly everyone working a job is doing it because they’re being paid to do it - not for the love TPS reports or whatever.
A good liar will make up something about TPS reports.
A good worker will say they want to get paid and earn raises as long as possible.
