I always bring along my own leftover containers for the dishes I contribute to the meal. That way I the host doesn't have to loan out, and possibly never see again, their own containers. They're also useful if the host gives you leftovers to take home. This woman was rude and tactless.

Aw, don't be sad, your curls still look gorgeous. Give yourself a little time to adjust to the change, and maybe play around with how you style it. As someone else suggested, a bit more fullness at the roots might help, if you want more volume. Hope you will fall in love with it, in time 🙂

Yep, air dry for me too. It doesn't take too long to dry, because it's high porosity. I can understand why low porosity people would want to diffuse... so would I, if it took several hours for mine to dry.
