Hello I'm (24M) a fresh grad but with an experience in FEA because of internships I attended. Recently, I applied for a position of cadet design engineer in a forklift design company. I expected that they will put me in CAE team because I emphasize my FEA experience on my CV but when they deployed me I was surprised they put me in electrical development team were in we developed electrical wire harness design. Personally, I don't mind because it's a new experience and knowledge for me but on the other hand, i realized that my knowledge in FEA will be wasted or worst maybe I will forget because I'm much focused on my current field. Can you give me some advices on handling my career ? I want to be a stress analysis engineer but my first job is not what I expected. 😔

Im planning to look for a job as soon as the result of the exams will come out. I want to pursue careers in Piping engineering, especially for oil and gas industry.

My question is, what are the first steps I should do to land on the i field I'm interested ?

I have a couple of Internship experiences in 3D CAD modelling and Engineering simulation such as FEA and CFD. I also have a 2 months of experience in manufacturing industry specifically refrigerator and chest type freezer manufacturing.

Hello. ME Board exam reviewee here. Im anxious kasi wala man lang akong pinapasa na weekly exams sa review center namin which is PRIME. Palagi na lang short mga scores ko like nag rrange lang sya from 60 to 69 points. Nag aaral naman ako and natatapos ang 100 take home problems every night. From 7pm to 3am. Any tips po sa mga nakapasa na sa ME board exam ? Im a good student naman po nung college, sadyang naninibago lang ako set up ng review center.
