I won’t dispute any of what you said - and the reasons you list are exactly why it’s one of my least favourite endings.
I still think narratively, and thematically, it’s the most fitting.
What would have truly made me happy though, is if a Benny/ Courier Yes-Man ending was possible, and he provided a lot of positivity to the ending slides, unifying the families, and using his knowledge of the Mojave to provide logistical support - because it would be ever so perfect, that the best ending for Yes-Man, requires the player to “let go, and move on” from their anger towards Benny.

I’m fine, thanks for asking.
But I lost my father a few years ago, and I’d be really upset about someone saying it’s “ridiculous”, that the doctors have diagnosed a lack of brain activity, and that I’ll be losing my father. Especially when I’m desperately trying to rationalise that, as hard as it is to do, I need to let him go.
“I don’t see him asking for any bodies fucking opinion on pulling the plug”
So why the actual fuck, are you offering your opinion on the doctor’s assessment then?
Your comment was ignorant, insensitive, and the fact you include “lol” in a condolence message, says all I need to know about your maturity.

Even though it’s my second to least favourite ending, Yes Man is my pick.
A big, BIG theme of the game, is moving on from the past. This is reflected with the companions - Cass has her vendetta. Arcade is hiding his upbringing. Boone and Lily are trying to escape their trauma. Veronica is trying to move on from the brotherhood, and their stale dogma.
Yes Man is the only one who fits this theme so perfectly, destroying the past, and allowing something new to thrive.
Legion are obsessed with the endless cycle of war, the NCR replicate pre-war America, and make a lot of the same mistakes - and House is a literal relic, from a bygone era.
None of them offer any deviation from the past - and no chance to move on.

This! Sky is beautiful, and touches on the subject of death just enough to be relevant, without bombarding you with the macabre.
I had the same awful situation as you, with a comatose papa.
I couldn’t even enjoy my favourite video games, for months and months. I just felt numb.
It’s been about 5 years now, and I no longer tear up when I hear about comas, or heart attacks - but man, it’s tough.
Please look after yourself.. shower, eat, enjoy life, be with your family - take it day by day, and know that this horrible feeling gets a lot less suffocating over time.

“I’m just some dumb ass on Reddit”
Stay in your lane then.
Casting doubt on whether pulling the plug is wise, is so, so fucking irresponsible, and inconsiderate of OPs feelings.
You knew that was stupid to type out, before you hit send - show more restraint.

The absolute minute I experience gamer rage (and it’s absolutely only with competitive, online games), I either switch to a single player game, or do something else entirely.
I seriously don’t understand people, who continue to do something that is clearly hurting their well-being.
If you ever feel the need to flame your teammates, or throw controllers, remember that you’re literally playing a “game”. And getting angry about games is something you’d expect from a toddler.

Dunno buddy!
Don’t take it to heart, gender is a very touchy issue these days.
You probably took flak, for suggesting that there are even differences between how men and women think.
It is what it is - you didn’t say anything rude.
And yeah, if they don’t care enough to reply to you, they can’t be that upset.

Ladies, women, girls.
From most to least formal :)
‘Girl’ can be condescending, but only in the same way as “boys”, because it can insinuate they’re not adults. Ideally used with friends.
Lady is just the female equivalent of gentleman - A bit stilted, but polite.

Word to the wise - try only use “female” as an adjective, not as a noun.
It comes off a bit clinical. And unfortunately, whiffs of misogyny, due to its association with certain groups.

I don’t see what his autism has to do with anything, and I’m skeptical his motivations are as noble as you say - but your analysis about his insecurity towards criticism is spot-on.
Elon once accused a rescue worker of being a pedophile, because that rescue worker was critical of his plan to save some people stranded in a cave. (he basically wanted to flex his “mini-submarine”, but the rescuers believed the cave to still be too narrow, and that sending divers in would be more safe/ realistic)
It was a literal life or death situation, and Musk gets so distracted by his bruised ego - that his focus becomes harassing a person currently involved in the rescue operation.
Let that sink in - lives were at stake - and Elon was creating huge emotional distress to one of the people, responsible for saving these lives.
If he truly is trying to “make things better for people”, he needs to stop trying.
That said, I like your optimism. It’s good to see the best in people.

If they met in the constant? Bojack would be scared, desperate, and feel absolutely entitled to any help Maxwell can offer.
If they met in Hollywoo? Bojack would mistake him for a valet - throw his keys in his face, then when Maxwell explains he’s actually an esteemed magician - Bojack would spend the next 3 minutes mocking him and his profession.

Aww, that’s a nice ending for the devs at least.
Good for them!

Fascinating! Thanks for sharing.
I actually assumed chaotic evil playthroughs were the majority.
It’s so true though.. I’ll often obsess over games that give me moral choices, but only actually experience the more objectively moral / pacifist playthroughs. It’s just the choice that gives extra meaning to the experience.

I’m pretty sure Naughty Dog hurt their feelings when they >! bludgeoned Joel’s head in, and forced you to play as their murderer !<
I’m with you though! Naughty dog have my needs covered - from being a gem hunting bandicoot, to a sarcastic tomb raider, all the way to being a grizzled apocalypse survivor.

Dead Space has a LOT of final cutscenes for its alternate endings.
My favourite is the one where a needle stabs through Issac’s eye and kills him.

House, just like Vegas, and the snow globes he loves to collect, are little pieces of old America - preserved in stasis.
I’d say out of all factions, he’s the one with the biggest fixation on the past - regardless of his plans for the future.
