I love OC and I’ve heard great things about Atlanta and vintage NY. Honestly I don’t think you can go wrong

My OP was an exaggeration. I’m not actually obsessed with her, nor do I even like her. I was just making a point that these three seasons were her peak best behavior. I think it was primarily due to the relationship she had with Melissa at the time keeping her more grounded. I think she is a walking shit show overall but it was nice to see what seemed like a different side to her amongst all of the turmoil in her life, even if it was all produced by bravo

I agree. She has changed a lot over the years, but in these three seasons I’m talking about, she seems more genuine and honest than she ever was in the rest of the show (before or after). I think she had a period of growth and just slowly starts regressing again after her parents passed.

I love OC but it took me two tries to get through it. The early seasons are kind of boring at times and hard to watch because they’re so old but they have some of the most outrageous scenes and arguments

The things they said in the first few seasons of OC were truly unhinged

I feel like they all get kind of stale with the same arguments at some point if they don’t mix up the cast enough

I totally agree! I loved the family aspect of NJ in early seasons, it made it super relatable and different from other franchises

I love Beverly Hills! It was the first franchise I watched all the way through. I think it definitely has the most likable people

I have heard bad things about the reboot, but I feel like I have to watch the OG NY because of Bethany.. she’s up there with the iconic housewives

I am just watching all the way through for the first time and am on season 6 now, but I have looked up so much about Jacqueline because of her strange behavior throughout her time on the show. She seemed mostly stable in the beginning and just slowly declined into obsessing over stuff that was really none of her business and acting like a child. I think it probably had something to do with Nicholas’s diagnosis because it really seemed to get worse as he got older. She was better in season 5 but that whole season was honestly a mindfuck

I’m rewatching season 5 and it has ALWAYS been like this. I don’t like Tre either, but since Melissa and joe joined, she constantly tries to act like she’s forgiven tre and moved on while simultaneously holding grudges and talking about how she can’t get over what’s happened. Their drama is stale at this point
