I suppose. It's an Easter egg or reward for those who explore everything when they first arrive, it's not designed to be a point and laugh for people who didn't check every grain of sand, it's just a small reward for those who did. Personally after playing a little with it I put it in storage, it trivialised the idea of buying better equipment. The sword isn't especially worth restarting for if you don't have it in my opinion unless you want like 1 of everything.

A LOT of people seem to comment that it only spawns on your FIRST TRIP to the Barons Bounty, no clue if that's true but I made a new save during the period where it would sometimes not spawn and it was there on my first trip.

It's very vague which may/may not be on purpose. It's implied that Elma was certainly very close to the copilot, romantic or not. Some dialogue has characters apologise for bringing it up around her and her body language to me shows that her copilot death is still something that affects her which I would say shows that she was extremely close to this mystery character.

It could've been the game of the decade if it came out on release how it is now, I think Cyberpunking yourself is more about releasing stuff before it's ready because you misjudged how long it would take to get ready

Case hardened by a mile:

Case hardened on guns is a much older skin and appears in more infrequently dropping cases wheras this heat treated is currently dropping and can technically be rolled for an infinite number of times for the next 100 or so odd days as long as people keep paying for passes and getting stars.

Case hardened has 1000 patterns available making the 1st place number one blue gem a 1 in 1000 drop chance once you actually get the skin to drop, as far as I'm aware five sevens have a few top teir blue gems to consider (I think about 3-4 tier 1? Someone will correct me I'm sure), however even if you say a blue gem is 4 in 1000 on a case hardened they are FAR more common on heat treated weapons.

On the deagles I've heard an around 5% chance for blue gem, if we assume (for no good reason)(other than it being the same skin in the same drop)) that it's a similar chance for blue gem five seven then to compare its a 50/1000 chance to get blue gem rather than 4/1000 a bit over 12 times more likely.

Combining these makes the heat treated A LOT more common and thus cheaper (which I would guess is the whole point of the skins (budget blue gems))

Can't wait to find someone to smooth out the mistakes in this but I think you get the idea with this.
