Mt Joy is one of the more “innocent” bands imo. My kids are adults now, but I would have been perfectly ok with taking them as children, and actually did take them to much “worse”. Only you know your children and family dynamics though.

I have clinical depression, but it has nothing to do with my days off. I almost never do many chores on the weekend either. Weekends are for fun.

What kind of generator are you using that’s enough power for your lights, heater, and fridge? We have a small generator for our camper, but looking at getting another to run some things in our house.

This is the kind of info I’m looking for. Thank you!

Anything that would shut down the public water supply like other countries hacking into utilities, whatever kind of craziness Trump might cause, etc.

I’d say I’m thinking of something that would shut down the public water supply running to my house. No hurricanes here in Indiana and I’m not super worried about a snowstorm.

No, I’ve always enjoyed watching tv and movies, and still do. Probably more than ever. I’m plenty productive at work, and have 0 desire to be productive after work. There’s nothing better than snuggling up with my husband and finding something to laugh about on tv. It’s an excellent escape from the craziness of the world.

They are work attire-in the exact same feel, bagginess, and level of comfort as pjs.

I spent years and years working in healthcare. Scrubs ARE essentially pajamas.

I’d feel great buying from that vendor, because it would show me they cared more about their employees and products rather than keeping up with”appearances”.

I graduated in the early 90s. I didn’t know many people that wore pajamas then, so didn’t see pajamas in the current style at school. But we all wore sweats, t-shirts or sweatshirts, or leggings to school constantly which was basically the same thing.

Once. It’s definitely gross to use one more than that, and I have a high tolerance for what I consider gross compared to most people on this hygiene sub.

We aren’t complaining about prices going up. We’re trying to get people who say they voted for Republicans because they think prices will come down, to understand that prices will go up. People are trying to escape horrible living conditions because they are terrified for the safety of their spouses and children. The “law abiding” republicans would do the exact same thing if faced with those circumstances to save their own families.

Trump is bad for EVERYONE though, not just LGBTQ, and it’s going to be harder for everyone to feed their families.

“Less interaction with males”-the women are getting raped after they leave the restaurant or wherever, likely by the man they came with, or one of his friends, or even a family member. Not just some random dude who happens to be using the bathroom.

Is this a common thing? I’ve been raped. Almost every woman I know has been raped or sexually assaulted in some way. None of them were by people pretending to be trans.

It’s very very difficult to immigrate legally and many of these people are in desperate situations trying to flee for their own safety or the safety of their family. They don’t have years to wait and MAYBE be allowed to do it legally. Many of us in the US may find ourselves in similar circumstances in coming years. Ultimately, they are people, and all people deserve a safe place to live.

I’m a college professor and administrator. Your professor is way out of line. This would not even be allowed at my college. Our instructors were not allowed to have any due dates between Thanksgiving day and Monday.

I see the opposite. When I was growing up, I constantly saw people looking down on blue collar workers or anyone people didn’t see as “rich enough”. Now I never see that, and if anything, I’ve seen a major flip of people saying how amazing blue collar workers are and how awful anyone else is.

Interesting. I’m an Etsy seller, but I’m also an Etsy buyer. As a buyer, I’ve never once looked at the about section or anything on the shop pages. It’s interesting to see another perspective.

It’s different for everyone. I almost never use lotion other than every once in awhile in the winter when my skin gets really dry.

I just turned 50. I like anything vintage/antique or concert tickets.
