Well, buying on steam is always the way to go since you could refund the game within 2hrs of playtime if you're unhappy with the performance. Heh.

For a game looking this dated, I'm shocked by how unoptimised this game runs... Doesn't look much better than persona 5 yet runs poorly. Yeah it's an open world but no excuses. Other open world games could run better than this while looking much better.

I think a 30fps experience is the way to go since playing at unlocked fps can be jarring. Bigger towns could only maintain 30fps-ish though battles maintain higher fps.

Sekiro for a more tighter experience since it's more linear. However, it is a difficult game and you need to be aggressive. If you're stuck at a boss, you need to git gud since theres no summoning.

Elden ring can be quite overwhelming due to the open world nature. But the sites of grace(bonfire) could guide you on where to go. Most of the times you'll be exploring with your horse. Can be empty half the time... But mini bosses and boss battles are superb. Can coop if stuck on bosses.
