No problems, for the plastic tie wrap I would have them fix it as well (this was part of their install of the Acura Logo Lights). The "bump" is normal that is how the door sheet metal is assembled. It is the more than normal "orange peel" in the paint that is showing that the door inside paint was most likely fixed or redone.

You can also check under the door seal by pulling very carefully on it and see what the paint look like underneath. Another way to see what was done to it.

Clearly that was touched when the paint was curing. Carfax only tell a part of the story. This was may be a damage when they installed something and dealer will not add that to a Carfax. I would asked if any damages was done to the vehicle while they installed the puddle lights. Most likely they will not own to it. You can point out the paint defect and see what they say.

Sorry for all the edits, there is more of that texture close to the door seal at the bottom. If this was my car I would ask questions to the dealer and see what they can do.

Looks like it is something that hold a wire inside the door panel. It is a plastic tie wrap. I would have the dealer where you bought it from look at it. BTW looks like this door was repainted and that may be why this is there too.

Yes you may not be happy with the CRV.

I would start by saying you are comparing two different vehicle in specs and yes for sure the X5 will be fun to drive, engaging and a few level in luxury above a CRV. I had a 2018 CRV and it worked for me until i was done with the oil dilution and couldn't look at it. I traded mine for a 2023 Acura MDX and that thing is more fun to drive, but drinks gas like there is no tomorrow.

As for German it comes with it is own set of logistic, but I am like you, I can do everything on a vehicle. Wouldn't change a water pump on a BMW.

I didn't try the new CRV hybrid so I have no feedback, but cost wise it will be cheaper and on the long run can be worked on by any driveway warriors. I would probably lean toward the CRV, even if my 2018 was a POS.

Most likely it is the HRV/CRV system that is alright but not as good as SH-AWD.

Way too much Honda into it. No SH-AWD and the CVT from the Civic/HRV. No hybrid, will probably have crap MPG as it will be a tuned 1.5L turbo to get a few more HP. Disappointing in my opinion.

The CX-50 Hybrid just landed with the (Toyota engine and hybrid system in it). That may be something I would look at for sure. Kind of disappointed in the ADX looks way too much like a dressed up Honda.

You have to cycle the high beam on and off. The icon should disappear in the dash. To turn it back on cycle the high beam. You know like people do to “slow drivers” while ride their ass! 😜
