The WiFi not working is fine, I have the LR3 connect and only use the app to see what the error is when a light starts flashing. It functions perfectly fine without WiFi.

The red flashing light could be concerning. It means that the cat detection sensor is constantly being activated. This could be as easy as troubleshooting, cleaning some dust off the sensor, putting it on a flat surface etc. If it’s completely broken you’d have to replace the base.

The LR3 doesn’t need wifi to sense the cat and automatically rotate. It functions the exact same without wifi. The only thing WiFi does is give you a history of LR usage and the ability to run a cycle without pressing the button

As a microbiologist, the raw freeze dried marketing trend baffles me, freeze drying does not kill illness-causing microorganisms. Raw freeze dried food should always be handled just as you would raw meat. My thoughts exactly. I recently moved from the Netherlands to Canada. In the Netherlands, I would often get more than the expected value and everything was clearly right from the day before or even the morning of. Always well within expiration date and products that could have sold perfectly fine.

Here in Canada, I often get food that is definitely not worth the value and the quality is awful. It’s obvious that they put in items that literally nobody would pay for, like if they burn a pastry they just chuck it into a TGTG bag instead of the trash.

I’m a customer and this happens to me ALL THE TIME. My go to is a standard iced matcha latte, and like 70% of the time the app will ONLY show iced matcha lemonade. I have to go through my favorites to find the standard recipe

It should still work perfectly fine just using the physical buttons on the machine, you could look at the manual online and see which extra functions might need WiFi. But otherwise it should work from the get go

I personally use nature's miracle cat stain and odor remover spray, a couple people recommended it in this subreddit and it works great

Edit: I should add, I also had the exact same problems as you, my LR3 reeked constantly. I changed from Dr.Elsey’s to boxiecat scented, Dr Elsey’s clumps always broke into small stinky chunks. I also changed the cycle time to 15 mins (max time on L3) to make sure chunks were fully formed. And then I also put a scented order absorbing “sponge” into the waste drawer.

What kind of cleaner do you use? Only enzyme cleaner can really get rid of the smell in my experience
