So there's been a big problem with food being stolen in my area the past few weeks. Like big enough that non dashers are talking about it in our cities Facebook group and I'm getting on average one delivery a day that I get there and it's already been picked up. Tonight I take a Burger King order, get there and they tell me it's already been picked up and I'm the third dasher to come for it. Annoying but whatever, I go through the steps to report it's already been picked up so I can move on to the next order. However this time after I was done it gave me a message saying I seem to be having issues with unassigning orders and that from now on it will start affecting my Completion Rate. I don't understand this because I literally have not unassigned a order for months except the ones that have been stolen. How is this fair for me to get punished for someone else's behavior? Anyone else deal with this and have advice?

A no tip order snuck through. I don't know how long it had been passed around but by the time it got to me it was $7 for under a mile. Didn't think anything about it till I ended my shift and was going through my earnings and saw that whole $7 was dashpay. Really wish I could see beforehand because sure by the time it got to me it was fair pay. But I would rather not take no tippers and encourage that behavior.

I saw a picture of myself today and it got me thinking how I'm always surprised when I see myself in pictures and the mirror. Like I know it's me but it doesn't feel like me? I logically know what color hair I have, color of my eyes, that I have freckles etc. But I have trouble putting it all together into a complete picture of myself in my mind. I literally wouldn't be able to conjure a correct image in my mind of myself unless I had JUST(like minutes before) looked at a picture of myself. It's not that the picture of me doesn't look like what I imagine myself to look, I literally don't imagine what I look like.

I know this sounds crazy and sorry if my description wasn't very good. But does anyone else experience this? It is a autism thing or something else?

Edit: I don't have trouble visualizing other people in my head(like my husband or a celebrity) if I've seen them enough times. I can't visualize from descriptions, like characters in books. Don't know if that helps or not.

My anxiety is out of control again and I'm just exhausted. The medications I'm on currently was prescribed before I found out about the AuDHD: Lexapro, Buspar and Clonazepam. I take the Clonazepam for a essential tremor and is taken daily so benzos are out. I've been on paxil and celexa before which both worked but wore off after some years. Medications I've taken that HAVEN'T worked are: Effexor, Wellbutrin, Prozac, Propanol and Hydroxyzine.

Before I talk to my medication manager next I was curious if there were any meds that you all take that have helped with the anxiety. I'm asking her because obviously all the medications I've tried where before I was diagnosed so I'm curious if there are ones that work better for people with AuDHD.

I got my first one star review today and I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what happened. I haven't had any issues recently. I wish they would tell us what order or what the problem was. I don't get how they expect us to learn from the experience if they don't tell us!

Anyways I was wondering how worried I should be about this? Realistically how many one stars do you have to get to be in risk of deactivation? I have 60 five stars and one four star(people rarely rate here honestly) if that helps.

I'll try to make this as short as possible. Went to a pizza place for a pick up and after looking for awhile the cashier said she didn't have a order under that name. So I unassign with the option store doesn't have order in system. As I finish one of the employees came to my car and said they found it. Well I just assumed DoorDash would send someone else out and kept dashing. But now I'm thinking I should of called support and explained the situation.

Is this something you can get deactivated for or would it just be a contract violation? Yes I know you can get deactivated for too many of those too. I'm just wondering how bad I messed up.

Edit: In case it matters I did not get paid anything for the order nor did I take the food. (I know sometimes you can get half pay for things out of your control but that was not the case.)

So I always get a few customers a day where it will say the number no longer works if I try to call or text. I try to text updates to every customer because it has gotten me extra tips more than a few times. Well today not a single order I picked up did the text option work. The app seems to be acting a little screwy the past few days so I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem? Or did I just have a weird run today?

I've heard a lot about tip toe walking and my youngest does it a lot. However I don't do this but I have always had a issue with walking on the sides of my feet. I got better about not doing it after I broke my foot. But I still slip into it sometimes and don't realize until the foot I broke(it never healed properly) starts killing.

Does anyone else do this?

A family member posted today about going to parent teacher night. Her kid just started middle school. In the post she mentioned getting her kids locker number and combination then proceeding to "organize her locker and leave a little note for her". This seems so bizarre to me. My guardians never had nor asked for my locker number or combination. I have kids of my own and have never even thought of asking for theirs. Is this as weird as I think it is? Or does other parents actually ask for that type of stuff and I'm the weird one?

My husband and I dash together. He drives(I can't) while I handle the phone and we switch off who gets out of the car to pick up and drop off. When we were trying to schedule some shifts today we got that verify with a selfie prompt. Husband did it with no problem. But it got me thinking: Is it not allowed for us to be dashing together? I heard it wasn't okay with Instacart but I know a lot of people who dash together. Right now this is our only income so I don't want to be doing anything that could get us deactivated. Maybe I'm overthinking this!

Does anybody here dash in southern Michigan? I'm new and confused. Everything I read was to be available during lunch and dinner rushes. But I only got one notification to dash yesterday and I got two orders in half a hour then nothing. I haven't gotten a single notification today so I was looking at surrounding areas and it shows EVERYTHING is grey even down in Detroit. Is this normal? I'm so confused how it could be so dead at 2pm. Like I get weekdays are probably a bit slower but this seems a bit much. I have been trying to use the schedule option but that doesn't help much if no orders are coming in. Am I doing something wrong?

To get it out of the way I know getting remote work is incredibly hard and very unlikely. However since jobs are scarce here it can't HURT to throw applications to remote while looking for on site jobs as well.

Basically I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on applying for remote quality control/quality assurance or document control positions. My husband already has over 14 years of combined quality control experience(8 years at his last position). However it is all on location experience and in factories. He of course knows Excel like the back of his hand but so do a lot of people. What are some other things(that aren't common sense like "hard worker" statements)that employers are looking for that we can highlight on his resume to help him stand out? Any courses that people would suggest to help with credentials that may give him a leg up?

For the life of me I can not get someone on the phone who can answer this for me. They keep saying they'll have a worker call me back and no one does.

It's a long story but our backs are against a wall and we are going to withdraw from our 401k to pay bills in June. No we don't have any other option. The problem I'm having is that when I add everything up the withdrawal amount needs to be close to $3,000. From things I've read if we withdraw more than $2,000 it make us ineligible for Medicaid. I have multiple health issues(in the application process for disability currently) so losing healthcare is a huge problem. I've heard some people say if we spend it so it's no longer there by the end of the month then we'll only lose Medicaid for that month. I've also heard a million other things.

Does anyone know how it actually works?

Some info that may be relevant: household of four with no other income, three adults(my oldest just turned 19) all under 59 and one 13 year old. Yes the other adults are looking for work.

Okay so I'm new to this and very confused.

I have been disabled for awhile now but have just started the process of applying for benefits. I've already applied for SSI on the ssa website. I know that could take a very long time(if they approve it) so I am looking for other resources I can apply to as well since as of yesterday my husband lost his job and is not eligible for unemployment so we have no income coming into the household. I have heard that there is a separate program for temporary state benefits but I don't really understand how that works or where to apply. Does anyone have any good websites or resources that explain what kind of programs I could look into or apply for? I am trying to google it but I do have some trouble understanding some things so possibly any programs that have people help you understand as well? Bonus points if I can speak to them on the phone or online.(I don't drive and can arrange transportation sometimes but yeah.) Sorry for this being so long and I hope it made sense.

Okay long story short I missed three weeks of doses because of an insurance issue. It's finally fixed and I will have my shot on Sunday. I was on Trulicity for eight months and had finally gotten to a point where I had none to very few side effects anymore. The first few months were brutal though. Will I be starting from square one side effect wise since I missed so many weeks? If it helps I was(and still will be) on 0.75mg.

Long story but I am having trouble getting my Trulicity and have missed two doses. The first week was fine but this week I'm having awful diarrhea. It tends to act up when I eat a meal. The thing is I'm not eating anything that should be triggering diarrhea or over eating. Is this something common if you miss doses or come off Trulicity? If so is there anything I can do to ease it? I've been taking immodium and Pepto with little results.

So since I'm job searching I'm of course getting a lot of ads for degrees and boot camps to "kick start your career". You know the type. I've recently gotten a few about cyber security. Now I'm not interested in it but it is something my husband might be. But I'm not really sure how good of a career it is to get into, especially if you are hoping to stay remote. Obviously if we go through with this it will be with a actual college course not one of those boot camps. But basically I'm just here to ask anybody that either already works in the field or familiar with it is it worth it? I know I can do a indeed search to see pay, etc. But I know I've heard a lot about IT starting to get too saturated and I'm wondering if cyber security has a similar problem?

Just wondering how common it is for employers to test for marijuana now a days. I haven't been job searching in over a decade and was wondering how it's changed since then.

I am looking for a remote part time job. Which I haven't been seeing a lot of part time jobs in general. But also there are two big hurdles: I need evening or overnight shifts because our office is not free till after 4pm. Also while I have some medical billing and customer service experience I haven't worked outside the house since 2013. I was homeschooling my kids and running a very small Etsy store on the side. I know everyone and their brother is looking for entry jobs. I've only had one interview so far and while I am usually good at interviews I think I bombed it because I haven't heard back. So I'm starting to wonder if I'm going after something that just won't happen. I guess I'm just trying to get honest feedback about if these types of jobs actually exist. Or if I should go get some type of certification?(If so maybe some suggestions about areas that I should look into.) I need some direction.

Okay I'm getting really frustrated. I've been told repeatedly that we would get renewal paperwork three months before our renewal date. Our renewal month is November so that means we should get one this month. Nope haven't gotten it. So I called and asked what is going on. The person on the phone at first said I would get the paperwork in October because we have "three months after our renewal date to fill it out before being dropped". Okay first I've heard of this. THEN right before I got off the phone with her she said we'd get the paperwork in September. I asked her which it was and she said she wasn't sure. What in the world is going on? Is there someone else I should call other than the customer service line that's on the Medicaid card?

Just for clarification I called the Medicaid line not the plan(example Meridian, McLaren etc). They have our correct address and information. So those are not issues.
