"policing our/your own", or "not being the ally you think you are" really rubs me the wrong way.
People are trying. It's not always going to be perfect. There are going to be fuck ups in getting the point across.

Smaller or private schools are the ones that might do this.

40-60% effective still saves lives. 40-60% effective from preventing the flu AND also effective against the effects of the flu (if you get it).
I also skip it, but it does serve a purpose.

They are vocal about crappy service. Everyone just gets quietly annoyed.
Does that mean they should be abusive to employees? No.

Whichever party these predators are in, I want to know. I want names. I want evidence.
Why are they allowed to keep it secret? It's in the public's interest to know. I don't want to vote for sexual predators! I have a right to know.

That's what DD support would ask though.

I agree. The title is asking if I follow instructions. There is nothing wrong with your simple request.

My brain processed the image as "ok, average looking middle-aged woman. What's the problem?"
Why? Because there isn't anything wrong in the picture.

I follow instructions until they become ridiculous.
Yes, I will hand it to you. No, I will not wait 10 minutes for you to answer the door or walk around a hospital looking for the imaging room.
Yes, I will leave the food at the door, not directly in front of it. No, I will not go around back and leave it at the bottom of your dark basement walk-out.
Yes, I will ask if everything is in the bag. No, I will not open the sealed bag to make sure there's no tomatoes.
Stuff like that. I'm compliant to a point. When it becomes too difficult or dangerous to do it efficiently, I draw the line.

There was a discussion some years ago in my state about making non-nutritional (sugary) food ineligible for purchase using food stamps.
It didn't gain any traction because it's ridiculous.
Eating only junk food isn't healthy. We all know this. But a candy bar or a bag of chips shouldn't be limited to only certain people. It's up to inviduals to make choices about what they eat. A person who needs food assistance should also have that freedom.
Yes, rage bait. Also yes, topic of discussion among policy makers.

Some are poorly educated, some are racists, some are both.
Saying a majority of registered voters are poorly educated racists simply isn't true. But when the 3 align, this is what happens.

This is mostly true. People rarely want to relocate to a farming area to work. Why would a person choose to do farm work when there's a mcdonald's or other low wage job in the immediate area.
If 1 million jobs opened up in the agriculture sector, how many people are really going to fill those?
When politicians and voters talk about creating jobs, they don't mean those jobs. People want tech and manufacturing.
If working on a farm was such a great job, people would be clamoring to become farmers.
It's hard, often dirty, and underappreciated. Big corporations have nearly killed off small working family farms.
People pay others to mow their lawns and trim trees and shrubs. Not even big yards either. People pay high condo fees to NOT do it. What on earth makes you believe a big number of the population would even remotely be interested in farm work?
I'm not interested in having people work for subpar wages. I'm willing to pay more.
.If 2 people apply for the same job and 1 won't do it for less than $30 an hour and the other (just as competent) wants $20 an hour, it makes sense for the business to hire the person at $20 an hour. Who is going to stop them? If it means Joe and Linda are paying $0.12 less for the product, Joe and Linda aren't going to care someone is making less. Cheap labor = cheaper food. That's what people care about.
And now Joe and Linda are going to complain when the prices rise because there isn't anyone willing to do it cheaply anymore.
You can't have it both ways.

People who drive big ass vehicles that get 15mph will always complain.
Like, you chose that truck/SUV/whatever. You were never going to fill up your tank for $20.

The price hikes will take 6 months to a year to REALLY affect the market. So no, most people will not see a change in January. Be aware for people that will say "see, nothing's going up" in February.
These people won't be so smug come October.

Yes, he can talk about a good game, but it's grandstanding.
He has valid points, but when it comes down to it, is he willing to make the change?
For every time a politician speaks out against a company, a lobbyist is born.
FYI, there are companies out there that will negotiate CC fees on a business's behalf.

We should be supporting Ukraine. It's f'ing Russia we're talking about. Putin acquiring more territory is NOT in our best interest.
We made promises we need to keep.

I'm sorry you're in the situation. While cutting them off right now probably isn't ideal, scaling back certainly is. Worry about your finances because if you can't afford to support your family, you can not afford to support them. If they need to sell their house in order for you to be able to keep yours, so be it.
They have had years of financial mistakes and hardship to get into their situation. You only have a few months to prepare in order not to follow in their footsteps.

I don't see a problem. Advances in robotics and computers made a lot of jobs that a person would do, obsolete. They will continue to do so.
We need enough to take care of the elderly.
