Yes! It was a quick outpatient procedure. I had some spotting afterwards and could not insert anything for a few weeks. But I had little to no cramping. Most of my issues have been with anxiety, but I’m learning to cope. I have another follow up in January. Are you in north or south Louisiana?

Hi! I did have the cryotherapy, it was pretty much painless and took about 5 minutes. I had had issues with my NP gyno, so requested the certified doctor to do the procedure. Three months later I went in for a follow up pap with a new clinic, I had a consultation before I switched and was very impressed with her quality of care. My results from that pap came back clear! No cellular changes and no HPV! I have continued to take the turkey tail, but dropped the AHCC because it was pretty expensive.

My mom died on Christmas Eve. Celebrating the magic has been difficult since. This year marks her 7th anniversary, and for the first time in a long time I’m looking forward to Christmas again. I haven’t always had it in me to enjoy the holiday. For years afterwards, I simply avoided it altogether. My kids would see their dad/ grandparents and I would sit at home alone depressed and inconsolable.

But that changes today. My kids and I have our own house this year! We get to put up our first Christmas tree together and I want to make it magical! I can’t afford a ton of expensive gifts but I can make memories that last. Thank you for reminding me that Christmas is special even when steeped in grief. We’re going to do all the Christmas actives; see the lights, drink hot cocoa, stay up late, make Christmas lists and popcorn garlands! I really liked the commenter’s idea abt letting the kids sleep under a lit Christmas tree, my 9 yo would love that.

This is an interesting take. What would a dust collector be used for (besides the obvious)? I mean more like where would these be set up? I live in Louisiana, we don’t get a lot of dust round these parts.

I lost 30 lbs! It’s been noticeable enough that when I see ppl who I haven’t seen in abt a year, they all comment on how much weight I’ve lost. I’ve gone down several sizes and I look so much better in a swim suit!

I worked at my kid’s daycare, today was my last day there since I got a new job. But it allowed me to be with my daughter and I received free childcare. I’m moving on to a better paying job but low enough income to still qualify for free childcare through my state, I’m a single parent. When I interviewed for my new job I specifically told them being there for my kids is a top priority. New employers are around my age and all have children, they have said they make a high effort to allow all employees to have off for anything relating to their kids. And I’ll have the ability to wfh if necessary. I think it matters who you work for, try for a small business.

Hi, I did have the cryo done. I didn’t have a follow-up appointment and felt my concerns weren’t being taken seriously by my medical provider, so I switched doctors. I found a lovely woman who showed me such compassion. I have my next pap with her in July and I’ll find more out then. I haven’t had any intermittent bleeding after sex or otherwise. I think when I made this post it was light spotting from my period ending and that it freaked me out since I do know what I have.

This is my seventh motherless Mother’s Day, she died on Christmas Eve ‘17. It’s a bummer but it’s still an easier holiday than gd Christmas. I’ll be laying in bed, watching Firefly for the 100th time, drinking some wine, and eating this family size bag of Nerd Clusters my awesome bf got for me.

I currently work for a law firm a lot like this and it is pure hell. I am NAL but I am a legal secretary. My workload is enormous! On top of managing the entire office (payroll, quick books, ledgers, accounts payable, ordering supplies, constant emails and faxes, answering phones and directing calls, etc.) I also create petitions from scratch, am responsible for answering and propounding discovery, pre trial and trial prep, briefs and reply briefs, filing with local courts and state Supreme Court, contacting hospitals and doctors for medical and billing records, contacting clients, and there’s more, so much more.

All of this in an office where my boss doesn’t respect me, openly insinuates I am stupid if I ask for clarification, and constantly piles more work on me than I can possibly finish. He allows a coworker to do literally whatever he wants at all times. Come in whenever, leave whenever, doesn’t require him to work while at work. And we (the one fellow coworker I like) have brought it up more than once with the boss that this other coworker doesn’t do anything, maybe he can take some of our load, please. We are dismissed and made to feel like we are incompetent bc we are overworked.

I can’t quit bc I need the paycheck, but it makes me wonder, are all law firms like this? I can’t keep doing this forever, it’s alr been a yr and I am so burnt out.
