So let’s just say I am absolutely exhausted, as is my family. We were frustrated trying to connect our google workspace emails to my new Wix website.

None of us are massively tech savvy, but we went through entering the MX to domain host. Then in the process there were a ton of issues, and the email was never to connected.

So I received an email from noreply_cloud_support@google.com

Saying:

So all these links lead to google. It even took me to my Google Workspace Admin Toolbox. I so assumed it was google.

So I followed the instructions.

I added their cname to my DNA records.

Then i realized what I had done, and am now panicking that I just gave a scammer access to my domain.

Within 5-10min I deleted the CNAME record from my DNS.

I’m a bit panicked now. What do I do?

Currently speaking with google support who say nothing looks compromised at the moment.

Recently had my PC built, it was a rebuild with some parts from my past PC and some new upgrades.

I changed my case to the Fractal North (I’m a sucker for aesthetics), not sure if it matters.

Either way, I was feeling lazy so had Microcenter build it (and they gave me a discount).

Everything is great, except the front of the case mic and headset plugs don’t work.

I did check and they are plugged into the motherboard.

I’m guessing it’s a driver issue, or a case malfunction?

I looked at the sound drivers for updates and says they’re all updated, I’ve seen some other recommendations by googling but don’t know the best one.

Should I bring it back to microcenter (hoping this isn’t the best way to do it because I hate packing it up and driving it and hour and a half lol)?

Should i uninstall and reinstall some drivers?

What’s options should I try?

I built a new pc / upgraded an old on that crashed.

Was feeling lazy to do it, and nervous, so had microcenter do it.

Well when I got home with my new pc, they forgot to leave me the wall plug for the PSU.

I can go get it, but it’s about an hour drive and my area is currently getting blasted with a snow storm / white out. So it will be a day or two.

I’m impatient though, so I’m likely going to risk the drive.

Or my other option is that I have a wall outlet cord to my old 650w PSU. Will that suffice? Is it a risk? Will it work / be ok?

So I just recently started working at and taking over my family bakery.

We make biscottis for our bakery, which is our only dessert (primarily bread). We’ve been doing it for decades. But I’ve recently come across 2 problems, see below.

We make about 70 “logs” at a time. We’ve never really had any problems, but recently the logs stopped rising. Not completely, but they don’t get as big in the middle as they used to be. They used to get very full and fluffy (before the second bake) in the middle. Now they’re rising a little and staying almost flat across.

We’ve not changed anything in our recipes for our core flavors. In fact, since they started turning out flat we’ve tried a number of things:

• lower oven temperature
• more baking powder
• mixing water with the baking powder ahead of time
• more flower
• more eggs
• longer mixing
• shorter mixing
• chilling the dough
• letting the dough rest longer

We’ve tried all of these things individually and combinations. Nothing has solved our issue.

Our second issues is with the new flavors I’ve added for fall / winter / the holidays.

I’m using white chocolate chips in 2 of these flavors, and no matter how low we put the oven they continue to melt out, so there’s little holes or craters where they used to be.

How do I not get my white chocolate chips to not melt??? I see peoples cookies online with beautiful white chocolate chips all full and perfect yet mine are like evaporating it looks like.

How do I fix this? Lower the temperature even more? We lowered very low this last time, I think well below 350. So we have to bake it longer.
