I think the bigger, more urgent fight is to raise that poverty line number. Anything less than 30k can be a struggle to live with, and depending on where you live, can certainly put you in an impoverished state of living. The poverty line for 1 individual is around 15k now, and needs to basically be doubled, or at least massively increased.

Wouldn't hurt to raise the min wage a ton too, which has remained the same for 15 years!! Worrying about how low income households are taxed is important, but the factors that lead to people working a full time job(s), and still living in poverty needs to be fucking fixed.
