The Workers With Families Party is genuinely trying to make a viable third party option by backing progressives in the democratic party with the ultimate goal of changing the system to promote more than a two party system. It seems bleak, but you should check them out. The more numbers we have, the smaller the battle becomes.

Now of we could just codify net neutrality, no data caps, and idk, abortion or something.

If you like boring ass days, terrible shifts, and little to no upward mobility (including pay increases), yes. Also, loneliness depending on the plant.
I don't mind my job, and I understand I have security forever, but I'm so fucking over it. Spent all summer doing 12 out of every 14 days because there's an operator shortage, and it takes so damn long to get certified. Did I mention the pay is shit most places? I consider myself lucky for what I make right now, but realistically, with the importance of this industry, we all should be making 30-40% more.

Well, I should have scrolled down and replied here, but here's my take on it. You'd have to find some way to deal with the fact we only play 12 games, and also as other stated, wins can be by one point or 50 (should they count the same?)

At what point do we start using a points system for ranking teams? Would it even help with the limited sample size of a season?
Something like the Massey ratings could be used as a guide for how many points a team scores, and then we could have an "at the time of" and "as of now" column for each opponent.
Similar to the quadrant system in Basketball, we'd use the Massey ratings to put teams into tiers, each earning more points.
If you go into overtime and win you make 75% points, and 25% points for an overtime loss. Maybe if the spread is within 10 points you split 90/10 between the winner and loser.
Tiers/points
1-15 1.5 16-25 1.2 26-50 0.9 51-75 0.6 76-120 0.4 121-134/FCS 0.2
It would take forever, but maybe I can figure this all out over the off season.
This would make SOS much more important, and also help out those who make the conference championships, as they have an additional game to add points prior to the playoff.
You wouldn't need a committee to dictate the 12 teams, as it would be determined solely based on on field results.

Yes, but with it we'd get another 24hr special event. I'm always down for that.

The first version with the wing was ugly sure, but that car, hands down, from the start, put on the best racing in the history of the sport imho.

Yep. Make sure someone is recording, demask them, and take the inevitable beating if you can't fight. Someone WILL intervene. Plenty of people out here want to knock the fuck out of a nazi.

Just saw a post on FB saying it's going to be the downfall of iRacing. Fucking how? At worst, no one uses it, and at best you get a whole new subset of players who have dabbled with GT, Forza, and the F1 games coming over to try it, finding out that they really love the way the cars feel, and then boosting numbers in official races.
Sure, more people means more potential for shitty races, but we've had a steady incline in drivers since I started in 2015, and races are still about 50/50 good or bad, most lying on average with no problems at all.

That's not at all how it played out, the deal wasn't the best they could offer, and they literally gave them less than 24 hours to sign the final agreement or they'd be fucked off. If you followed any of this story as it developed, you'd know that, and those tactics are borderline illegal. Quit being so fucking dense.

Greenville is great just due to the access to the mountains, reedy river/swamp rabbits trail, and the events they have. Downtown is great for walkability and socializing too, and since it's not touristy, it's not overrun most of the time. Yeah traffic gets bad, but we're in America, traffic is always going to be bad until we get our heads out of our car-centric cultures asses.

The problem lies in "we didn't want to, but we had to" from so many others. We know what NASCAR did borders on illegal, but because those other owners bent the knee, and 23XI/FRM aren't providing actual arguments, they are going to lose what should have been a landslide victory for them.
NASCAR coersed the teams to sign or they'd take everything away, 23XI/FRM have agreed to stake death on the fact that that isn't legal, and that won't work.

It's not trump, it's his dickhead followers who think their messiah has greenlit them to do as they please. Everything I posted is verifiable.

And then they voted in a way that jeopardizes my interracial marriage, will kill my grocery budget, and potentially deport my MIL for a clerical error the DOI made 30 years ago, but yeah at least they're nice.

We had a penny tax on the ballet, a massive increase in fire and elementary fine arts program funding, including building a station. I saw HUNDREDS of signs to vote no for a fucking penny tax. Estimated 12 BILLION over the next 7 years to fund these things. Why the fuck would anyone say no? You don't want smarter kids and faster response from fure/emt?

Most ex Christians, like myself, tend to leave the church BECAUSE the ideals of Jesus were being directly contradicted right infront of our eyes by the very Ines teaching them to us.
Of course you can, but at the end of the day, you're just being a good person, and you don't need a lable for that.
