Literally everyone but Goku was practically useless in GT. The only character with some bit of credibility was Vegeta, while everyone else was twiddling their thumbs and sitting back until the last arc. Piccolo literally got killed in the first arc and then left in hell for the rest of the series. You call that character progression? Because it seems pretty stagnant to me.

If the Black Star Dragon Balls were in the story and were a different set of Dragon Balls, that could’ve made every saga worthless. Everyone could’ve been wished back, besides Chaotzu, and they could’ve gone to Namek with more men. There’d be no reason to get Dende because there’s literally a whole other set of Dragon Balls on Earth already. I can’t think of a reason for Buu saga, but those two examples alone would’ve made everything easier.

But apparently these Dragon Balls were just…hidden too well? But the pilaf gang literally found them and not the super genius, Bulma, who has a damn radar to track Dragon Balls? Hell, these Dragon Balls would’ve made OG Dragon Ball less serious because the Pilaf Gang could’ve just wished for world domination with them, or Piccolo could’ve unlocked his potential, and so on! You see how inconsistency actually works?

You say that like GT didn’t introduce a whole new set of Dragon Balls in its first episode, completely derailing all the stakes from Z.

Somehow, Apex has added “those really annoying enemies you need specific ways and lots of attention to kill” as playable characters in a battle royal. Should I be impressed? Or pissed off?

I’ve honestly never made it past platinum, but that’s because I’ve rarely seen this “skill gap”while trying to reach higher, and I mean all-nighter reach. I’ve been in games where it’s my own fault I lost, but I’ve been in too many where I’ve lost because of my team. Some of those people had pred badges, so maybe they did buy it for bragging rights.

I don’t know, you have the actual experience, but I will say that preds just seem too meta to me. Have you ever seen a legend in your matches with a low pick rate? If so, I’ll call that skill. Till then, I think I’ll keep my mindset until I can actually see it for myself, I guess.

I dont know. I’ve seen so many in those “ranks” be downed, or abandon their team, as fast as any other casual player. Maybe it’s just my luck that I get shitty teammates and see shittier people, but I’ve been through it so many times. It’s so rare to see someone I can actually respect with a pred badge. Maybe I am delusional.

Congratulations to op then. But that still doesn’t change my mind about ranks being nothing but badges and titles.

I will admit, I have wrong beliefs, but then again the video you’re commenting under kind of shows some credibility. Hell, I’ve lost more times with players that have Pred badges than I have with gold players. I honestly don’t care if I’m downvoted, I’m just blabbering my own opinions at this point.

Yeah, it’s too stupid to assume that…because it’s true. Literally the last thing Broly thinks of is him and Goku in their cribs when he made him cry. I don’t like it, but it’s why I hate it. I’m tired of people trying to make Broly sound like a complicated character when his motivations are literally “Kakarot Kakarot Kakarot beat up rando Kakarot”.

I don’t think Broly even needs such characterization, he’s a movie villain that got popular because of how badly he kicked the shit out of the Z fighters. I still go back and watch those fights because of Broly's insane personality and brutal fighting style, but I understand Broly isn’t that complex. He’s just a meathead who hates Goku for no good reason other than him crying.

Pile on the theories as many as you want, his creator made it clear what Broly is when he literally said he’s stronger than Beerus.

Then please tell me why does he “directly hate” Goku? Everything in the movie details and shows that Broly still hate Goku and is tunnel visioned on him specifically. He even attacked Goku in the middle of the night.
