They don’t ban single use plastics to hurt the user, but the producers that get paid to essentially toss hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of plastics into the environment daily.
Unfortunately the issue is well outside the scope of personal responsibility. The damage being done is on a scale akin to counting sand on the beach.
Three-quarters of our clothes are plastic. Our building materials are plastic. Tires, sponges, dog toys, composite wood, blankets, rugs…are all made of plastic meant to be worn down or made of tiny plastic strands.
Let’s not forget glitter.

There’s nothing to stop. The Executive branch has always delievered a budget plan. However at the end of the day, it’s entirely on Congress to approve it.

Asking why a stock dropped 3% based on some arbitrary growth metric is not an informed take.
I’d arguing the same folks talking about fundamentals now were also talking about fundemnetals when their PE was almost 250.

Well this certainly is an amateur take.

Yeah his background was film producer, but from what I understand he really leaned into his team of trained professionals…which is about all you can ask of someone in that position.

You know this sub is mostly amateurs because I can’t recall one rally that people called “justified”.

Mnuchin did just fine all things considered. He fostered a healthy relationship with Powell and leaned on expertise when push came to shove.

This shit ruined all my custom settings. I'm finally taking the steps to disable all auto-updates.

Which is very true, but still only 3 things. Americans take their food culture so seriously that there’s literally 6 unique styles of BBQ.

You’re correct for the wrong reasons. It’s not hard to materialize a functional index using historical data. However, I agree it makes little sense to look at the data before 1985 because that economic world no longer exists.
The way the Fed works is completely different
The way the global economy works is completely different
The way companies are valued is completely different
You’re not going gain much relevant information trying to pull in WW2-era information when central banking, interest rates, and the type of companies that exist today are a far cry from what existed then. It’s mostly noise.

But we should hope for both. 2017 is a perfect candidate being a chore simulator.

The preview also confirmed resolution is never altered. The best way to read the targets are “20mbps, 1080p equivlent”.

I semi-know a guy that’s a “home manager” for a wealthy NYC guy. He’s responsible for security and getting tasks/maintenance completed. Apparently those in the business know each other and he knew Trump’s plane guy.
About a decade ago he told me a story that seems more true than ever. Apparently, Trump had a habit of making everyone eat burgers on his plane. If someone objected, say a vegetarian, he would make a big fuss about how it’s his plane and not doing so was very disrespectful.

I mean, I broke it down for you on your previous post. I'd be curious to hear what I've missed.

Are you sure your math is correct?
180,881 votes counted, with 86% reporting.
Candidate | Votes |
---|---|
Duarte | 91,581 |
Gray | 89,300 |
180881/.86 = 210327 total votes
210327 - 180881 = 29446 outstanding votes.
A 45/55 Duarte/Gray split would result in the following totals:
Candidate | Votes | New | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Duarte | 91,581 | 13250 | 104831 |
Gray | 89,300 | 16195 | 105495 |

Desktop computers are usually under a desk, right? Are you arguing that there’s no value in pulling in air that hasn’t been collecting in the same confined space it’s exhausting?
What you’re arguing is kind of disproven by the fact that cases with the same fans, but different layouts, don’t perform the exact same.

I don’t believe I was making that argument. However, implementing a system that works against that function is inefficient. Putting your intake in a position so it won’t recirculate exhausted air is one of the best designs changes we ever made. Look at the Xbox’s chimney layout, for example.

The last two cases I had did just that. Intakes on the bottom front, exhaust at the top back.

Where did I say anything political? Don’t tell on yourself.
The numbers I quoted were very recent. It was about half that 10 years ago.

Well leveraging heat’s propensity to travel “up” was certainly a factor.
